I love the quality of ingredients of the La Bella Figura line. They were kind of one of the pioneers of green beauty. The Modern Radiance Concentrate is a antioxidant, vitamin C rich gel serum. Details per La Bella Figura:
High Performance Complete Vitamin C Gel Serum. Modern Radiance Concentrate is a multi-tasking and complete concentrated Vitamin C gel serum formulated with advanced technology from actives derived from the world’s highest source of complete Vitamin C found only in Australia's wild harvested kakadu plums. Our advanced formula is uniquely designed to target uneven skin tone and aid in restoring luminosity to the complexion.
This has a nice pleasant gel serum texture that absorbs easily and quickly into the skin. While I preferred this as a morning antioxidant serum there's no reason you can use this at night either. The base is a nice hydrating base of aloe and coconut fruit juice (yum). This also has some other nice hydrating and soothing ingredients like cupuacu butter, olive leaf extract, avocado fruit extract & gotu kola. They used kakadu plum extract for the vitamin C as it's one of the richest sources of complete natural vitamin C. That's what gives this serum it's lovely orange color. This also has other antioxidants like prickly pear seed oil (rich in vitamin E), aronia berry, sea buckthorn fruit oil, ferulic acid, carrot, ginger and pomegranate oils. Lots of fruit extracts in this one.
Victoria also included immortelle & green coffee bean oil. Immortelle is both an antioxidant with flavenoids but also an anti-inflammatory and anti-aging. Green coffee bean oil is one of my favorite skincare ingredients. It’s high in fatty acids, vitamin E and sterols making an antioxidant. Some studies have shown that coffee essential oil helps with elastin and collagen production, it’s anti-inflammatory & helps with all the basic of anti-aging like firmness, texture and wrinkles.
I did feel this serum gave my skin an overall more luminous appearance. It wasn't as brightening as a 15% ascorbic acid serum on my skin. However, it has a really nice blend of antioxidants and plant extracts plus it's hydrating and non-irritating for those who can't do higher percentage ascorbic acid products. It's very expensive which is nothing out of the ordinary with the general high end luxury green beauty lines. It comes in a luxury white glass pump bottle and as I said earlier Victoria uses nothing but the best when it comes to quality ingredients. I really enjoyed using this and it has a fabulous inci list, but I will probably stick to purchasing my Aria facial oil by the brand over this due to the expense part.
