I have been trying a few new concealers lately. I've been looking for more liquid or cream concealers as something different than my usual staple Cle de Peau concealer, which is drier and thicker. The area under my eyes has been dry the last few years so a moisturizing concealer is more comfortable currently. Even though they typically last less, crease more and have less coverage.
So I decided to try Make Up For Ever's Ultra HD Concealer in Y31. Per Sephora: Instantly hide dark under eye circles with Ultra HD Concealer’s innovative range of color correctors and concealers. Featuring an Anti-Dark Circle Complex with Radiance Booster, this concealer support collagen to refresh and awaken the undereye area. Along with filling and smoothing fine lines, its lightweight formula is infused with Pure Focus Pigments that reflect light to erase shadows, while the hylauronic spheres prevents moisture loss. For an instantly flawless complexion, choose from the peach color correcting shades to neutralize dark circles—then, use a concealer shade to brighten the undereye area. Apply in thin layers for the most natural result—only a small amount is needed.

The retail is $27 for a 0.33 oz tube. The plastic tube has a plastic applicator, though I never used it. I dotted the concealer on, then used a brush to smooth out. I love the Sephora X Hakuhodo Concealer Brush. I love the texture of this, it's thin enough yet covers very well and is highly pigmented. However, it's drying. It made the fine lines around my eyes more prominent after a few hours. It seems hydrating at first but ends up being drying. I looked at the ingredients and didn't see any alcohol listed so I'm not sure why it's drying. This was great as an undereye concealer as far as coverage goes, it's pigmented. This also covers blemishes well. The only fault I saw was the drying aspect.
I had samples of shades Y33 and R30. Y33 was too dark for me and R30 was too light and pink. It says R30 should be peachy toned for dark circles but it felt much more pink toned.
