The Serum comes packaged in a chrome airless pump. The serum itself has a thicker creamy serum texture. It's lighter than a gel cream but heavier than a traditional clear serum. It's hydrating and sinks in quite well. This has the mineral rich thermal Holy Water, three forms of hyaluronic acid, apple stem cells and resveratrol to name a few. There's something special about mineral rich thermal waters. Even though it seems like such a simple thing they do really nice things for the skin. I've been addicted to Omorovicza's Hungarian thermal waters for years and called them magical on numerous occasions. Now I have a new Italian thermal water to be obsessed with.
This serum has hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid which is my favorite form of the powerful hydrator. It's the smallest in size so it can really penetrate deep into the skin. This serum has two forms of vitamin C and licorice for helping to brighten the skin tone. Resveratrol and vitamin E are great antioxidants. Apple stem cells are rejuvenating to the skin. This serum has a really nice hydrating feel to it, it really feels like it replenishes and rejuvenates my skin. It's never heavy and it layers well with everything. My skin felt firmer and had a nice glow while using this serum. I really liked this one and love having it in my skincare arsenal.

The Eye Serum has a chrome package on the outside but it actually has a dropper dispenser on the inside. The serum texture is super lightweight. It's just slightly thicker than water. It's hydrating and slippery and absorbs pretty quickly. If you have dry eyes you'll need to layer a cream over this like I did. If you don't then this might be enough for you. It's so lightweight it really sinks in well and layers fine with a cream.
This has glycerin, olive fruit oil and sodium hyaluronate to hydrate, while Madonna Lily, chamomile and lotus extracts to help with elasticity, protect and soothe. It's also got the thermal Holy Water. I liked this eye serum because the texture was nice and easy. I noticed some improvements in elasticity and hydration levels. It didn't help my dark circles at all but if you read my recent dark circles post you know that I don't judge an eye product on that alone. This was nice but didn't have that full wow me factor. I liked the hydrating easy texture but for the price I would go with the NIOD FECC for a fluid eye serum over this.

The Finishing Cream looks thick in the jar but it's surprisingly lightweight in texture. It's thin with a medium weight moisturizing level. I've been using it during days through the winter and will switch it to summer nights as it will soon become a bit too heavy for the hot and humid days here in Texas. This has a pearl like finish to it from the crushed pearl powder which imparts a really nice radiant glow to your skin. That's why I loved it as a daytime moisturizer. Combined with the hydrating texture it really gives a dewy appearance to the skin. This cream contains a more concentrated version of the mineral rich thermal Holy Water. The scent is very light mostly from the orange fruit oil. It does have added fragrance but it's not strong at all or bothersome. I love the chrome and silver pot it's so modern feeling.
This has squalane, glycerin, dimethicone, mineral oil, olive oil and sodium hyaluronate to hydrate and moisturize. This doesn't have a silicone texture at all as it's really light in texture so don't worry about that. Mineral oil will be a controversial topic all the time. It's really common in Japanese skincare so I'm not surprised to see it in the formula. Most of the time the mineral oil included in something high end like this is very refined and shouldn't be pore clogging. Mineral oil has a bad rap and has a lot of myths about it. I myself at one point refused to use it thinking it was comedogenic. Read this article from New Beauty HERE where it discusses refinement and mineral oil myths. This is also a good video HERE about comedogenity. So whether or not you choose to use mineral oil is a personal choice and up to you. I found this cream was in no way comedogenic for me, I experienced no breakouts at all nor did it ever feel too heavy. Honestly products with coconut oil feel heavier on my skin than this did. All that being said this cream gives a really radiant dewy finish to the skin, it's moisturizing and light in texture. I liked it but it's not my favorite as I just have other creams I reach for more.

The Reinvention Cream was a total surprise for me. I really ended up loving this one. It's a gel cream so I use it to layer under a cream or lotion as an extra hydrating layer. Those with more combo to oily skin types can probably use this alone as a moisturizer. It layers beautifully with everything, no pilling. This has the thermal Holy Water like everything in the MDNA Skin line. This also has resurrection plant stem cells. I love the ability of the resurrection plant to hydrate and revitalize my skin. These plants live in the desert and can actually come back from an almost desiccated state with a touch of water. Google the videos online of resurrection plants coming back to life if you want to watch something fun.
This gel cream does have a few silicones but it doesn't have a silicone texture at all. This has multiple forms of resurrection plant, ceramides, a lactobacillus pear juice ferment (I love all fermented products), licorice & beet root extract. It's also got tangerine peel extract, bergamot fruit oil and rose canina fruit oil. This gel cream has a light fresh and citrus scent. It's very pleasant. I love the texture of this and how it's not heavy. It's a great cushy hydrating layer and it really gives a revitalized feel to the skin. I would completely repurchase this one again (Plus it's the most affordable product from the line).

This device won BAZAAR's 2019 Anti-Aging Awards for Best Tool. It's easy to see why once you touch it. On first glance all I could think of was the phallic look of the device in general. Considering it's from Madonna I'm OK with that and it seems fitting. I will say after editing and getting these photos ready for this post I realized the above photo very much has the phallic and female 'feel' to them. I'll let you make your own conclusions. This device is very heavy weight and well made. It has matte black spheres with a black chrome handle.
This device has Japanese crafted over-sized onyx carbon spheres. The ribbed design allows for the spheres to hug every curve of your face. They do this well. This is the best fitting facial roller I've tried. I really grips the face well allowing for a nice lymphatic drainage action. Facial rollers like this really give you the "sculpted" look by encouraging lymphatic drainage. It makes your cheekbones more visible. The roller also mimics an esthetician's muscle work and kneading at home. It helps break up adhesions in the muscles like a massage. This helps with relaxation and relieving tension which can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
The Beauty Roller also uses invisible waves of Ultra-Infrared Energy to energize the skin. The carbon spheres are listed as being able to melt ice on contact without heat, light or batteries. I tested this and yes this roller easily melts ice in seconds with no effort. Does that mean this transforms my skin? It feels nice on the skin and after rolling I feel a more relaxed, with less facial tension and a bit energized. My face does have a less puffy feel and looks slimmer after consistent use.
This roller can also be used on the body. It's great to relive tension on the neck and shoulders. I notice this does grip the skin better when you use it over less oily products. I prefer this dry or over mist versus over an oil or cream. It just seems to work better. This is most definitely the star of the line.

This mist has a really cool clear black base with the chrome top. This has the thermal Holy Water, rose essences, antioxidant spirulina and ribose. It's simple but nice. This isn't going to be a really hydrating mist it's more of a perk me up nutrient mist great for layering serums and oils. The mist is not super duper fine but its not a powerful spray so I enjoy using this one (I'm not a fan of the mists that project at your face with force). This has a light rose scent and while it does have fragrance it's not strong or fake rose scented. It has a very natural rose scent. I enjoy this mist and while it seems pricey it is a larger sized mist at 5 fl oz.
CREATED TO OUTPERFORM ONE OF HISTORY’S GREATEST PERFORMERS

Overall I love the futuristic modern aesthetic of the packaging of the line. MDNA Skin has quite a lot I like about the products. The textures are all fabulous and I like how most performed on my skin. It surpassed my expectations of what I thought it would be. To be honest I expected an overpriced celebrity line with lots of silicone textures and fragrance. Only the mist and The Finishing Cream had added fragrance and it's still minimal. My top favorites are The Serum, The Reinvention Cream & The Beauty Roller. It's still overpriced but it is a luxury celebrity line and lets face it, it's Madonna. Half the luxury beauty world is overpriced right now as well so it's nothing new. I take it all with a grain of salt. If you have the money to spend on luxury beauty the MDNA Skin does have a few really nice items.
