I've been trying a few items from NIP + FAB. It's cheap, available at Ulta, and by the same company that does Rodial Skincare. The Glycolic Fix Scrub is next up.
Per Ulta: "Glycolic Fix Scrub is a 3-in-1 micro exfoliant with glycolic and salicylic acids which refine, brighten and renew the skin. 3% glycolic acid gently exfoliates, retextures, and salicylic acid cleanses pores." The retail is $9.99 for a 2.5 fl oz tube.
The color is a faint blue same as the tube. The scent is a strong sweet grapefruit, which I find too much for me. The scrub beads are round and smooth, they're larger sized and not rough. Overall, it was OK but I hated the scent. I prefer the size and texture of Omorovicza's Gentle Buffing Cleanser to this. It's worth trying to see if you like it for the price. It's similar to Alpha-H Micro Cleanse with glycolic acid. I just can't stand the scent.
I've tried multiple glycolic acid scrubs. I'm still not convinced any of them work in any extra exfoliation past their general manual exfoliation skin contact. They're on your skin for such a short period of time, I don't see how adding glycolic acid can help. So I prefer a scrub based on it's general texture. This one's texture was a bit too big for my tastes.
