Paula's Choice has been making a ton of good stuff this last year or so. I used to be really into them for a while. They have cheap prices, good formulations that work, are fragrance & irritation free (generally). Sounds amazing right? And it is. I was intrigued from the start. I love the metallic gray pump packaging. It's perfect. The serum has a thicker, creamy texture. Like a very light lotion. It's fragrance free of course. The serum is very nourishing, soothing and hydrating. While it's intensely hydrating this isn't greasy nor heavy at all. It sinks into the skin in minutes. This will leave you with moisturized, happy skin.
This is packed full of omega fatty acids and ceramides to deeply hydrate, soothe and protect your skin's moisture barrier. I love that this isn't heavy at all. You can layer it easily with anything with no piling or any issues. Oily skin can probably use this as a moisturizer alone. I find for my combo skin this isn't enough on it's own. I like it as my moisture layer under my oils and creams. This is what I reach for to soothe or hydrate my skin when I want that nourishing comforting product. It's like your cashmere blanket.
You can use this morning, night or both. Daily or as needed. There's no reason you can't use this whenever you want. People who are afraid of facials oils might love this because you get some of the omega fatty acid benefits from a facial oil without the facial oil texture. This is light and hydrating and I've never experienced an adverse reaction or blemish from using it. I would easily repurchase this again. It retails for $36 for one ounce but there's always a Paula's Choice sale.
