I first heard of Plantioxidants during A Night for Green Beauty two years ago. I loved the matte metallic teal packaging and amazing inci lists. I grabbed three things that night. The Plantioxidants line is very antioxidant rich and I love that everything packaging wise is made 100% from post consumer plastic and paper. The Tea Tincture Toner ended up being my favorite of the three. Oddly I'm not really into toners but this one got me back into them. Details per Plantioxidants:
The Tea Tincture Toner is in a base of skin-softening rose hydrosol and a concentrate of age-correcting silver white tea. Your skin will crave this thirst-quenching toner. Hyaluronic acid from Japanese sweet potato locks in hydration while anti-inflammatory botanicals leave your skin feeling soothed and supple.

This toner has a very light texture and I love the packaging and pump. It's antioxidant rich with ginseng water, Rooibos, white & oolong teas. It's also got witch hazel, honeysuckle, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, cactus & the Plantioxidants Complex. This complex is in all their products. It's got mulberry, matcha, camu camu, acerola, elderberry, pomegranate, chokeberry, grape seed extract, coffee cherry, goji, blueberry, cocoa, artichoke, acai, cranberry and cinnamon bark, oregano leaf, cumin, parsley, thyme and sea buckthorn oil. Quite the antioxidant rich complex. This isn't a really hydrating toner, nor a pore cleansing acid toner which tend to be the most popular right now. It's just a really nice liquid antioxidant toner that gives you that antioxidant pep for the day. I wouldn't say it's super hydrating but it is alcohol and fragrance free so I find it non-irritating. The witch hazel gives it a pore clearing effect as it's an astringent. I liked this one a lot and I would repurchase it.
The Cucumber & Kale Juice Mask is a hydrating gel mask. Details per Plantioxidants:
The Cucumber & Kale Juice Mask is an intensely hydrating facial mask that instantly perks up dull skin. When skin cells are dehydrated, they resemble raisins. This highly nourishing mask rehydrates your skin cells so the once dehydrated raisin-like cells turn into fresh, plump grape-like cells, resulting in a healthier, more elastic, firm, and supple complexion.
Directions Apply a generous layer onto freshly cleansed face and neck. Wear for up to 15 minutes before rinsing off with warm water. Use up to 3 times a week.

This mask has a really thin gel texture. It feels more like a serum however it has little bits of something green in it. Possibly the kale leaf extract. It's really coconut water, cucumber distillate, glycerin, olive oil, honeysuckle, hyaluronic acid, kale extract, cactus, algae and the Plantioxidants Complex. It's so light in its gel texture that it is lightly hydrating as a mask but don't expect a really hydrating mask from it. I really would use this more as a hydrating gel layer at night, like an antioxidant/hydrating sleeping mask, but the larger green bits add too much texture to use it that way. So I used it as a wash off mask but it really would be nice as a leave on overnight treatment if the texture was different. It was OK but I wasn't into the texture that much. It was lightly hydrating but not a powerhouse hydrator. Overall it was a little lackluster for me.
Top to Bottom-Cucumber & Kale Juice Mask, Chaga & Ginseng Serum:
The Chaga & Ginseng Serum has a nice hydrating light creamy serum texture. Details per Plantioxidants:
The Chaga & Ginseng Serum contains Chaga, a rare mushroom that grows in the wild on birch trees and is chock-full of medicinal properties that heal, protect, and restore. Chaga mushrooms contain high levels of melanin, so when it is applied to the skin, chaga helps to reverse previous sun damage. Ginseng’s bitter saponins signal skin to speed up collagen production, which helps to diminish lines and wrinkles while increasing firmness.

This was one of the items I was so excited about. I love chaga mushrooms in skincare. Not to mention it's paired with powerhouse antioxidant ginseng. This has a light creamy serum texture that was pleasant to use. Its got ginseng water, shea oil, glycerin, honeysuckle, chia oil, chaga, calendula & chrysantghemum plus the Plantioxidants Complex. Ginseng has numerous bioactive compounds like saponins, polysaccharides, vitamins & minerals. It's anti-inflammatory and antioxidant rich plus it helps firm the skin. Chaga mushroom has been getting a lot of attention the last year or two. For good reason. It's antioxidant rich, soothes and protects. It may also brighten as well. As a hydrating and antioxidant serum this one is nice. It's pricey for sure and while I liked it a lot I'm not sure if I would buy it again only because of the cost (to be fair I feel that way about half of the luxury skincare/beauty market right now). Half price and I absolutely would.
I'm totally curious about their cleanser, eye & face creams. I just haven't bitten the bullet yet. I do wish they would do free shipping over $100 or something at least. It’s hard to go buy one item and pay over $10 in shipping. They also have a recycling program for old products that gets you a 10% discount in the future. Have you heard of or tried Plantioxidants yet?
merry christmas!
