I’ve always wanted to try a ReFa device. In 2009 ReFa launched its first roller. The idea was to replicate the professional caliber of an esthetician’s hand manipulations in a home use device. ReFa uses Japnese craftsmanship which we all know is top notch. ReFa has such beautiful designs, their aesthetic is very pleasing & they have definitely become the leaders in at home rollers and devices. I’m ecstatic ReFa has sent over the ReFa CAXA RAY in the new red color for me to play with. Details per ReFa:

Each device has a built in solar panel which creates a gentle microcurrent without the use of batteries. A very mild electrical current circulates in our bodies and esthetic salons use it for treatments. The microcurrent facials in a salon are geared towards improving muscle tone, increasing circulation, promoting lymphatic drainage (reduces puffiness and helps create a more sculpted look), decrease lines/wrinkles and it may help clear up acne or reduce it. Now these are the more intense salon facials, not the at home device. Same idea and concept but a lower current is in the devices. You cannot feel the microcurrent sensation at all in the ReFa devices.
The ReFa CAXA RAY also has rollers to mimic an estheticians touch. It’s body shape looks like a guasha tool. Guasha is popular for sculpting and scooping the face. Guasha helps with increasing circulation and can help with lymphatic drainage as well. The CAXA RAY is kind of lie a 3 in 1. You get the microcurrent, guasha shape and kneading rollers. I’ve only been using this for a few weeks and I have noticed some benefits like increased drainage and some improvement in the way my jawline looks (that’s become a recent problem area for me). Plus it just feels really good on my face. I love the pain relief of headaches and TMJ from these kinds of devices.
I find the ReFa works best over a slippery surface of some sort. Remember it’s waterproof and comes with a cloth so it’s easy to clean. I received the ReFa Expression Glossy Cream to play with as well. Details per ReFa:

This cream has a rich glossy thick gel cream texture. It’s perfect for adding some hydrating glow and slip to the skin. It has a light citrus scent. The jar is really very cool. It’s got a sculpted clear plastic and a mirror chrome look. It’s very hydrating and can be a final step in any routine. It left my skin very dewy & plump. It was the perfect companion to the CAXA RAY. Do I think this is worth the price tag? The cream I think you can find something similar for less, it’s very nice but not necessary to use with the CAXA RAY. I think whether or not the device is worth it for you depends on if you like devices, have the time to be committed to use it and your issues are things it can help with.
