Revision Nectifirm Advanced

So let’s talk about neck creams. I know some swear by them, some don’t. I used to be one who didn’t think they made a difference and just used my normal skincare. Trust me that’s way better than nothing. Don’t neglect the neck. And if it works for you keep doing it. However, as I got older and drier I started using really heavy creams on my face and they just don’t work on the neck. I get really congested if I use a heavy cream there. Some days I could really just use my same face serums and sunscreen and not need moisturizer. At night I like a light cream targeted to the neck. There are some that are really fantastic at reducing the lines in that area. I’ve been a fan of Alastin neck cream for a while but I wanted to branch out and see what else was out there. So I decided to try Revision Nectifirm Advanced. Details per Harben House:

Nectifirm ADVANCED is Revision’s next generation technology for a younger-looking neck and décolletage. By tapping into the potential of the skin’s Microbiome, Nectifirm advanced uses groundbreaking, first-of-its kind technology to help patients combat the visible signs of moderate to advanced aging on the neck.

  • Targets visible signs of moderate to advanced aging
  • Industry-leading Microbiome technology plus eight distinctive peptides
  • Enhances skin’s own antioxidant system with Smart Antioxidant Technology
  • Reduces the appearance of adipose tissue and rough, crepey skin
  • Smooths the appearance of lines and wrinkles

The texture is a medium lotion and it’s not greasy or heavy feeling at all. Leaves a silky finish on the skin. I skip these in the morning and only use them before bed. I’m too cheap to put expensive neck cream on twice a day and just use a light lotion or gel cream in the day. I love Revision’s overall packaging they use brushed black aluminum with a pump. Perfection. It does have a light floral ish scent, but as it’s on my neck I don’t even notice. This product is packed full of peptides and antioxidants. It actually does what it says and smooths the neck area lines, reducing them visibly. It tightens and smooths the skin overall.

Out of the neck creams I’ve tried to date this one is number two. Alastin still reins for me as number one but this is a close second. That fact that it came close to Alastin is a notable–very few have ever come close for me. It’s really a fantastic product I would put in my Top 3 Neck Creams post. This is really a simple post because texture wise it’s great, it does what it says and it’s effective. Yup it’s pricey but it’s very nice. I’ve tested all my neck creams on a 40+ years of age neck (mine). I do ultimately recommend this one, it’s great. I would give it the full bottle before you judge results, most products like this take 6 weeks to have good results but I did notice some changes around 2-3 weeks.
