Tata Harper just came out with a new Rejuvenating Hand Cream. I'm a hand cream junkie, as my hands are always dry, plus I had tried a sample of this before it released and it was amazing so I had to try the full size.
Per Tata Harper's website: "This luxurious hand treatment instantly improves the skin’s natural moisture cushion while restoring comfort and glow to one of the body’s most exposed areas. This 4-in-1 cream deeply hydrates, softens, regenerates and repairs the look of the skin, while reducing the appearance of wrinkles. Biocompatible Hyaluronic Acid and Avocado Peptides deliver a plump effect by boosting moisture. Bamboo Extract, combined with our Estate Grown Beauty Complex, creates a rich protective barrier to defend against water loss. Rose Geranium and Magnolia Flower extracts provide nourishment while promoting healthy, radiant and rejuvenated looking hands."
Product Benefits:
- Promotes a plump moisture cushion for hands that look younger
- Helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles
- Delivers long-lasting hydration while creating a protective layer to help prevent moisture loss
- Leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth
The texture is thicker, yet not greasy, and absorbs in a few minutes. It's a richer hand cream, so this isn't your quick, light non-greasy day cream. If you have dry hands like me it can be used as a day cream. It has a light floral scent. I love it, it's a fabulous, moisturizing hand cream, plus it has great ingredients. I haven't used it exclusively day and night for weeks to see what it does for my hands, but the texture and the feel after using it is what I love about it. It's hard to find a heavier moisturizing hand cream that isn't really greasy for a while after applying it. This hand cream is not too heavy like L'Occitane but gives the same moisture. My current other hand cream favorites are by Omorovicza, a good light day cream, and Alpha-H Age Delay, my night glycolic acid cream.
My main gripe with it is the size for the cost, it's pretty expensive for a hand cream. It's a 50 ml tube that retails for $48. Alpha-H is twice the size and about $10 cheaper, the Omorovicza is twice the size for $70, so it is cheaper per ounce. La Mer is the same price. Sisley's hand creams still beat all of the above for being the most expensive. I could easily go through one of these Tata Harper tubes of hand cream a month, and at $48 I'll mix it up and use Alpha-H at night still and for day alternate Omorovicza with this and the hand creams I continue to test, as I'm always testing one to see if there's something better out there. Despite the cost, I would still buy it again as the texture is divine.
