Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color Naked: Review &Swatches

I was never into the bright Urban Decay Super-Saturated pencils I saw in the store, then while browsing Urban Decay's online site one day I saw the Naked shade and bought it. This is a glossy, pigmented lip color pencil. Urban Decay describes it as a rich, creamy, high pigment lipstick with high shine in a chubby pencil. It sharpens like a regular wood base pencil like this, you will waste product when you sharpen it. You can get precise placement with it because of it's shape.

The retail is $20 for 0.10 oz. The pencil glides on with ease, is pigmented in one swipe(for a glossy pencil), the texture is glossy, moisturizing and not sticky. Naked is described as a light sheer beige on Urban Decay's website. It's more of a your lip but better shimmery pinked nude. The shimmer is not glitter, it's subtle and just helps add fullness to the color, but you can tell it's shimmery. It's glossier than a lipstick and more pigmented than the average glossy lipstick. It still is not fully opaque, but it's got good coverage. Because of the glossy factor it only has average lasting time like a gloss 2-3 hours, you'll be reapplying frequently.

It doesn't feel thick or sticky on, and I don't notice the need to sharpen as frequently as a thicker gloss pencil like NARS. If you want to try a your lip but better color with a different texture, one that's glossy, pigmented and like a gloss/lipstick hybrid try Naked.

Picture is a little blurry, but in sunlight you can see how pink toned it is:
