VERSED The Fix & Hydration Station

You may have heard of VERSED Skin. It’s a new affordable skincare brand available at Target. I bought three items to start but have only gotten to use two so far. I thought I would take about those two first. The Fix Emergency Eye Mask is a hydrating gel cream mask to nourish and hydrate the eye area. Details per VERSED:

Sometimes that solid eight hours of sleep a night just doesn’t happen. This is the solution for all those times when it doesn’t. With provitamin B5 (a hardworking member of the B-complex vitamin family) and vitamin E, this gel mask nourishes and hydrates the delicate skin around the eyes. All the while cucumber juice cools and depuffs, and caffeine calms swelling and redness. It really is the fix for whatever eye woes may befall you. Use it in the mornings, on a plane, in the shower—really whenever. Your eyes will never not not appreciate it.

Directions Warm a pea-size amount between fingertips, smooth on, and wait 10 minutes. Tissue off excess.

Brand Tip You can also use the mask as a chilled overnight treatment or in the shower for extra hydrating and depuffing.

Key Ingredients:

  • CAFFEINE caffeine
  • CUCUMBER JUICE cucumis sativus juice
  • VITAMIN E tocopheryl acetate
  • PROVITAMIN B5 panthenol

Ingredients

Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, 1,2-Hexanediol, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Panthenol, Trilaureth-4 Phosphate, Carbomer, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hydroxide, Tocopheryl Acetate, Propylene Glycol, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Juice, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Saccharide Isomerate, PEG-8, Bupleurum Falcatum Root Extract, Caffeine, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Polysorbate 20, Tocopherol, Coenzyme A, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Biotin, Sodium Benzoate, Phosphoric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Lactate, Sodium Sulfite, Ascorbic Acid.

This has a thicker gel cream texture that you just tissue off for removal. I use it under my eyes while using other masks like an exfoliating or detox mask in order to keep the eye area from drying out. You can apply it and sit around the house for a little while before going to bed as well. It has multiple ways you can use it. It reminds me of a cheaper version of the Sisley eye mask. If you want a cheaper dupe here you go. Same texture, different ingredients, same effect ultimately. Cucumber depuffs and soothes while caffeine helps reduce puffiness and swelling. Vitamins E and B5 nourish the eye area while humectants like glycerin hydrate the skin. It’s not a necessary skincare item but I like having a tube of this kind of product around just for multi-masking. My eyes get too dry when using an acid mask and this one is nice and soothing, plus it’s affordable. It’s got no added fragrance as well.

I’m completely smitten with the uber lightweight texture of the Hydration Station Booster with HA. Details per VERSED:

With two types of hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid (your body’s natural hydrator that’s able to hold 1000 times its weight in water) to hydrate both at the skin’s surface and the layers beneath it, this serum booster will quench your skin’s thirst. Virtually weightless, it disappears into skin in a snap. It can be used alone as a serum or mixed in with your other serums, gels, and creams. If you have dry skin, you’ll love it big-time, but let’s be honest, everyone could use a little more hyaluronic acid.

Directions Mix 1-3 drops into serum, moisturizer, or face makeup. Or use solo.

Brand Tip Mix a drop or two into your foundation or tinted moisturizer to create a dewier look.

Key Ingredients:

  • HYALURONIC ACID hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid
  • SODIUM HYALURONATE sodium hyaluronate
  • INDIAN CRESS EXTRACT tropaeolum majus flower/leaf/stem extract

Ingredients

Water, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Phenoxyethanol, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Tropaeolum Majus Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Citric Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin.

This product has the cutest little size (it’s 15ml). It has a dropper style dispenser. This has a water light texture so it’s so easy to layer under anything. I was totally impressed with how light the texture is. This hydrating serum has hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid so it has a smaller size and is able to penetrate better. Sodium hyaluronate is the salt of hyaluronic acid so it’s smaller and able to penetrate better as well. I love the combo of these two which gives it such a lightweight texture. This is one hyaluronic acid serum that doesn’t have a thick or sticky texture, it just feels hydrating. It’s fragrance free and fairly simple. If you want to try an affordable hyaluronic acid serum that is lightweight, not heavy or sticky (like other cheap HA serums) then you should really try this one. It’s quite nice.

I’ll have to report back on the Firming Serum I haven’t been able to crack it open yet. I was also toying with trying the overnight facial peel but I wanted to start with a few items and see what I thought. I know OMG Bart has reviewed quite a bit more of the VERSED line if you want to look at more products from this line in particular.
