I thought I would try something different and do a what's in my shower post. I'm not really loyal to any one haircare brand, I do have several brands where I tend to love a lot of their products. I'll mention those brands as I go through. This is what I'm using up right now, then will move on to what's in my closet. I do have a few staple items I buy time and time again.
Top left to right:
Alterna, one of my favorite brands the caviar in particular, Caviar Blonde Shampoo: I love Alterna Caviar shampoos, I'm not sure if the purple tint really helps me as I don't use it all the time and it's not left on my hair that long, I'll use it up then maybe try a purple conditioner one day as I keep those on my hair longer.
Alterna Daily Detoxifying Shampoo: I do like this shampoo, it's my detox or clarifying shampoo. I would rebuy. Plus it removes DHT which can lead to hair loss. Alterna is free of sulfates which I love in a shampoo.
Wedderspoon Manuka Honey with Bee Venom: I talked about Manuka Honey here. This has a few granules, so I use it like Fresh's Sugar Face Scrub, rub into wet skin then leave on for the rest of my shower for the honey benefits as a shower mask. It's messy and for me best done in the shower.
(My husbands Nioxin shampoo, he gets one small spot in the shower)
Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Cleanser: I briefly talked about it here. It has clay and does a good purifying or detox wash, I don't use it everyday, more like every other, so it doesn't dry my skin out. It doesn't foam and I use it with the Luna Mini. I would rebuy.
Phyto, I like their stuff as well, Phytheol Intense Anti-Dandruff Shampoo: I used to need this in Montana, but not any more here in Texas. So I actually just took it out of my shower as I don't use it anymore. It wasn't bad as a dandruff shampoo, a little expensive. I don't like that Phyto is not sulfate free.
Omorovicza Buffing Cleanser: I talked about this some here. This is a great gentle buffing cleanser, I will rebuy.
Sachajuan Hair Repair: This weighs my hair down too much, I got it as a freebie, I'm just trying to use it up then it's gone.
Alpha H Micro Cleanse Exfoliator: I touched on this briefly here. I love this stuff, good scrub. I would rebuy.
Davines, I've been really curious about them so I've been trying stuff so not sure if they're a favorite brand or not yet, Energizing Shampoo: I got this last year after freaking over what I thought was my hairline loosing a hair or two in the front, I honestly don't use it often enough to know if it fixes that problem, why I shouldn't have that many shampoos but I went nuts last year on hair care. It has a pleasant scent, is kind of energizing feeling and is good to my hair, not sure if I would rebuy, but it is sulfate free.
Omorovicza Body Buffing Balm: I just reviewed this here. I would not rebuy for reasons listed in the review.
FOREO Luna Mini: I talked about this here. I still haven't charged this once, amazing. No corrosion in the plug in area yet and it's stored in my shower, I've also never noticed any mildew on it and I only wash it maybe once a month. I use this exclusively now, no more Clarisonic, it's a fabulous little product.
Leonor Greyl, I was really curious about this brand last year not sure if they're worth the price yet, Bain Vitalisant B Shampoo: I just started using this, it's gentle and not drying. Has a bit of a too much of a perfumed scent. I got a few on sale from B-Glowing last year, not sure if it really is all that much better than a $20 shampoo for the high price. It is sulfate free so bonus for that.
Rahua Original Shampoo, Conditioner & Mask: I love this as a range of natural hair products. No sulfates. It doesn't foam as much so you have to get use to it, but it's great to my hair. No drying or weighing it down. I would rebuy the shampoo and conditioner, the mask isn't that much heavier than the conditioner and it's not necessary.
Oribe, love a good portion of this brand, Magnificent Volume Shampoo: Eh, this is OK. First Oribe I didn't really like, I'm just trying to use it up. It kind of dries my hair out, doesn't weigh it down. I much prefer their color shampoo.
Marc Anthony Coconut Oil Conditioner: This I thought would be nice, but it's too heavy. It weighs my hair down. I use this now only after coloring as a deep conditioner then once gone I won't rebuy.
John Masters Organics Lavender & Avocado Intensive Conditioner: This just became my favorite conditioner, I reviewed it here. Love it, will rebuy a lot. I've recently been trying stuff by John Masters, next once I use up some of this stuff I'll be trying the honey hibiscus shampoo and conditioner. So I'm not sure if they're a new favorite brand or not yet.
eos Vanilla Bliss Shave Cream: I love this, just reviewed it here. Will rebuy.
REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask: I've gone through a whole tube of this so far. It's a gentle fruit style exfoliator. It's messy so I like it in the shower. It's like a thick smoothie and smells like you could eat it. It's not one of those wow it made my skin awesome masks so once I'm out I won't replenish.
Leonor Greyl Jasmin Mask: This is OK, heavily scented, kind of light for a mask, more like a conditioner. Too expensive for me to buy on a regular basis.
Ojon, love this brand, Dry Recovery 2-Minute Mask: I love this stuff. It's a medium mask, not really heavy, not really light. I've gone through several tubs. I think they just recently discontinued this, but I need to check on that. I would continue to rebuy if not.
Oribe Signature Moisture Mask: This is OK, it's heavy, it can weigh my hair down a bit. Great when you want extra moisture. I hate the large tub, it's just so big in the shower and it has this inside compartment that gets water trapped in it which I hate.
Fresh Sugar Face Polish: I touched on this briefly here. Love it, used it for 10 years, will rebuy for as long as they make it.
Fresh Rose Face Mask: I talked about this here. It's not bad, I like the idea, not sure I ever really feel it's truly that refreshing or that I get that much out of it. I'm kind of thinking I'll go without it once it runs out.
Archipelago Coconut Body Wash: I reviewed this here. I would rebuy and have used more than one bottle.
Yes to Coconuts Oil Body Wash: This is new for me, I thought it would be more moisturizing from the oils in it, but it's really not. It foams OK, and you can use it with just your hands or on a sponge. I don't think I would rebuy at this time.
Tree Hut Brazilian Nut Sugar Scrub: I reviewed this here. I like it, it's a good cheap body scrub, I have bought many tubs and will continue to buy more until I find that really good cheap coconut body scrub.
