Youth to the People Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask

I’ve really been loving the latest Youth to the People launches. Their newest is the Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask. Details per Youth to the People:

The ultimate hydrating radiance boost. This overnight mask deeply hydrates, plumps and brightens with powerful, antioxidant-rich superberries and THD ascorbate, the latest clinically-proven form of stable Vitamin C. This formula helps to target dullness and uneven skin tone for brighter, more radiant skin.

Formulated with four vital hydrators – Squalane, Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin, and Betaine – the Dream Mask plumps and locks in moisture to repair dehydrated skin.

Directions At night, apply an even layer to freshly cleansed skin before heading to bed. Follow your regular cleansing routine in the morning. Use nightly for best results.

Key Benefits

  • Maqui: The most antioxidant dense fruit in the world. This rare superberry helps combat free radicals.
  • Vitamin C (THD Ascorbate):  Super potent and non-irritating. Vitamin C firms and brightens the look and feel of skin.
  • Squalane: Mimics your skin’s natural oils to boost skin hydration without the risk of clogged pores.
  • Prickly Pear: Extremely hydrating. Helps ease signs of redness.

This is a sleeping mask that really functions as a night cream. It’s a more intense night cream as most sleeping masks tend to be. This has a really rich buttery thick texture. While it is richer in texture it’s not heavy or greasy. It doesn’t leave me feeling like I’m going to break out in the morning. At first I thought it wouldn’t sink in all the way in but it does eventually absorb more into the skin. So don’t be afraid of it when you first try it. It’s not as heavy as it seems in texture. It is most definitely enough hydration for winter overnights so I’ll have to see how my skin takes this in the summer heat. A lot of creams tend to leave me dry in the morning but this one keeps my skin hydrated and supple all night long. I wake up with a nice glowing, plump and hydrated complexion. I love the fun yellow color and as always it’s in the typical YTTP glass jar. I love Youth to the People’s minimal aesthetic packaging.

The mask has glycerin (hydration) & sunflower oil (light in texture) combined with superberries prickly pear, acai, goji & maqui fruit extracts (antioxidants, rich in natural vitamin C), Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (vitamin C derivative), vitamin E, hyaluronic acid (hydrating), allantoin (soothing) & panthenol (vitamin b5). It’s an antioxidant supercharged shot of overnight moisture for the skin that will leave you plump and glowing. The vitamin C will brighten and help build collagen while you sleep. It smells like citrus but it’s natural and light. Nothing overpowering. If you liked the Superberry Oil you’ll love this. Another great addition to the Youth to the People range.
