Charlotte Tilbury KISSING Lipstick Confession: Review & Swatches

Charlotte’s KISSING Lipstick is one of my favorite items from her line. You can see my review of previous shades here. Confession is the newest shade as part of the Supermodel limited edition Holiday look. The retail is $32 and Charlotte describes it as a dusky tawny nude flecked with gold.

The description is fairly accurate. It’s a pinked deeper nude with gold shimmer not glitter. This is the most shimmery lipstick in the KISSING line so far, it has more than Bitch Perfect. It’s noticeable on the lips but not anywhere near overwhelming. It gives an overall luminous quality to this shade. It is not gritty, yay! I am in love with this color, it’s my favorite from this line so far. I will be buying a back up today as it is sadly limited edition. The formula is the same as previous permanent shades. It’s just darker than my natural lip tone, and the pink tone to it makes it much more wearable for me compared to Hepburn Honey which was a darker nude but wasn’t as good on me. It is very much a your lips but better shade. It’s not sheer and has great coverage.

I compared it with Penelope Pink and Stoned Rose first. L to R: Penelope Pink, Confession, Stoned Rose.

Top to Bottom: Stoned Rose, Confession, Penelope Pink.

After I compared the three above I decided to add in Bitch Perfect as it seemed closer in shade darkness but is much pinker. L to R: Penelope Pink, Confession, Bitch Perfect, Stoned Rose.

Top to Bottom: Stoned Rose, Bitch Perfect, Confession, Penelope Pink.
