I don't know what made me gravitate towards trying Erborian. I started with the Ginseng Mask and then grabbed these two toners-Eau Ginseng and Yuza Double Lotion. Erborian is a Korean Beauty brand but it's a Korean meets French luxury idea behind the brand.
Eau Ginseng per Sephora:
"A refreshing, hydrating, watery lotion infused with ginseng for skin that glows with radiance. Treat your skin with this refreshing lotion infused with ginseng, known for its smoothing and moisturizing properties. This delicately scented Eau Ginseng helps skin feel hydrated and smoothed, leaving behind a glowing complexion. Pat into skin for an instant feeling of refreshing comfort for skin that is supremely soft.
Ginseng root has been used for centuries in Korean skin care because of its smoothing and moisturizing properties. During its growth, the Ginseng root pulls many nutrients from the soil, making it an ideal core ingredient for skin care formulation.
This lotion is a part of a collection of multibenefit lotions from Erborian. The Korean secret to beautiful skin lies in hydration. After cleansing, apply these liquid lotions to help bring your skin the moisture and nourishment it craves. Follow with your daily moisturizer and the rest of your routine."
Yuza Double Lotion per Sephora:
"A yuza-enriched, multibenefit lotion that has two phases that combine to provide both radiance and nourishment to the skin. Enriched with yuzu, known for its antioxidant properties, Yuza Double Lotion combines the benefits of two phases that work together. The aqueous phase contains an ingredient which helps to reveal skin's radiance, and the oily phase helps to nourish. This bi-phase formula smooths the appearance of skin to provide radiance to even dull and tired complexions. Skin looks supple and full of vitality."
They come in colorful plastic bottles with a splash stopper. You can squeeze whatever amount you want onto a cotton pad. I love the packaging. They come in a generous 6.4 oz size. Yuza Double Lotion retails for $36, Eau Ginseng for $39.
Eau Ginseng is a white tinted liquid with a powdery floral scent. Very French smell, they always have powdery, perfume floral scents. Yuza Double Lotion has a light citrus scent with a milky moisturizing bi-phase liquid texture. Shake this one up well before using. I much prefer the Yuza Double Lotion. Eau Ginseng is an average toner nothing really special for me. Just a liquid with a powdery scent. OK, more than just a liquid, ginseng is great for many things. Yuza Double Lotion has become a new staple for me. It's moisturizing, not greasy or oily, no breakouts. The citrus scent is pleasant and not annoying, it's good for all skin types. I highly recommend checking Yuza Double Lotion out if you want a moisturizing toner.
