Natasha Denona Bronze Eyeshadow Palette

I first discovered Natasha Denona eyeshadows in 2016 and they have been one of my favorite formulations since. I haven’t actually bought any of the premade palettes until she launched this Bronze Eyeshadow Palette. I’m not a huge premade palette person, I would rather pick my own shades. Mostly because I end up using only 50% or less of the shades in a premade palette. I started buying her shades as singles which I’m not sure she even offers anymore. You can see my first haul HERE. Once I realized she was never going to launch new shades as singles I figured I had to start buying the palettes again if I ever wanted new shades. I have three old palettes on my wishlist but I don’t think I can bite the bullet for the 2-3 shades I want in each.

These new palettes have smaller pans and are more affordable. I love that. I’d rather have smaller sizes since I’ll never finish the pans anyway and pay $65 versus $129. This allows me to buy even if I won’t use them all, and maybe after a few more come out I can rearrange my favorites into one palette. These are magnetic and allow you to pop the pans out easily with a pin, so you can rearrange (if you want to) in these palettes. This Bronze palette is very warm, rusty and orange red in tone. It’s offset with a few almost cooler blue/purple shades. Orange and blue are opposites on the color wheel so they actually complement each other well. It’s a very summery style palette. I’ve been told the quality of the shadows has varied in the last palette launches. I honestly haven’t tried the palettes, I bought the singles from her first launch which were shades from the Green Brown and Blue Brown palettes. I was happy with the quality of the singles, they’re pigmented, smooth, buttery, not powdery and don’t have fall out. Her shadows are really easy to blend and they apply like a dream. I love the creamy mattes which are silky, the satin finished metallics are my ultimate favorites & the duo chromes are always amazing. The quality of this palette seems on par with the singles and original launch. I have three shades I absolutely adore in this palette. Palladium is a satin metallic pinky nude. It has a really unique look to it, I’ve honestly never seen a shade like it. I need it for the rest of my life and I need this as a single please.

My next favorite is Rhodium. Described as a medium warm purple with silver reflect. I see it more as a mid tone purple brown with a blue sheen. It’s very much a satin shimmer effect, no glitter or big sparkle. These two actually work very well together, they are so complementary. I like Rhodium on the outer third on my lid with Palladium on the rest of the lid. I also need Rhodium as a single please as I would continue to buy it once I empty it. Deep Dive is my next favorite. It’s a deep plummy eggplant with a blue lean. It looks matte but it’s really got a tiny hint of shimmer. This is a CP shade which can be wet or dry. It’s great for the lash line or smoking it out if you want to. The rest of the shades are very out of my comfort zone. Very warm, orange, red and gold. I’m trying to experiment a little. I think with all the mask wearing this year I’m getting back into focusing on my eyes with powder shadows. I had stopped wearing them for a while, opting only for the easy cream single shade. Have you been back into eyeshadow since masking started?
