Rituel de Fille Rare Light Luminizer Phosphene: Review & Swatches

Rituel de Fille is a small brand I stumbled across one day on Cultbeauty.com. I was looking for something small to add to my order to get a free gift bag. I threw this Rare Light Luminizer in Phosphene in my bag thinking it would be one of those ‘buys you regret later’. When I opened it that thought completely disappeared from my mind. It’s quite stunning and really pretty.

Per Ritue de Fille: Rare Light Luminizer: Inspired by extraordinary light phenomena, each shade imparts an ethereal glow—with a highlight that subtly shifts and transforms to reveal a remarkable depth of color. Phosphene: Often described as seeing stars, this kinetic perception of light is created by the viewer—the patterns observed in pitch-black darkness, the rhythmic shimmer of meditation, the sparks from rubbing your eyes. This radiant neutral imparts a soft, pale beige glow with a hint of peachy-blush shift.

This cream highlighter has a fabulous texture. It’s creamy enough to blend well, but hard enough to not be greasy yet last a long time. This has great longevity for a cream highlighter. Eight hours or so. It has a nice light lavender scent. The color is amazing. It’s a pearly beige with a pink peach purple twist. It is great for light to medium skin tones. It blends into my light medium skin tone easily. It might be too dark for paler complexions. This has a neutral tone to it. It’s not really warm, it feels cool but it goes on pretty neutral.

Phosphene adds this ethereal shimmery multidimensional glow. It’s quite superb. I reach for it weekly and I have a ton of highlighters, so that says a lot. I’ve been sitting here thinking what is my best buy of 2016 is. This is seriously in the top running. Check back on the first to see what I’ve decided. This is a well formulated, and natural ingredient only, unique highlighter shade. Go get it.
