Sorry for the delay in the Samples & Empties posts. They take a lot of work and I keep putting them off. Here's quick thoughts about August empties starting above.
LIXIR Electrogel Cleanser: I wanted to love this. I thought it was going to be a gel but it's a thicker cream. It has this bit of a sage cooling/tingling kind of sensation. I love the quick aspect of using it. A one minute mask or cleanser. I will do a full review.
Manyo Factory Galactomyces Niacin Special Treatment Essence: I wanted to use this. Then it sat in my closet until it expired. Water light texture. I just got a new one so stay tuned.
Clarity RX Take It Easy: I loved this serum. Hydrating and easy to layer. Review HERE.
Skin Owl Neck+: I loved this liquid gel hydrator. It's great beyond the neck. Use it as a hydrating serum for the face. Review HERE.
Osmosis Calm Level 2: I loved this retinol serum. Review HERE.
Odacite Aloe + Immortelle Hydra-Repair Treatment Mist: A very nice mist. Hydrating but not in an oil based mist way.
Make P:rem UV Defense me: The best serum light sunscreen ever. I will use every summer it's a hero product. Review HERE.
Bioderma Matricium: I love this water light serum. It heals skin during times of trouble. Its great after masks, or during winter to keep skin from freaking out. I finished my box. Review HERE.
The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3%: I used this to add a few drops here or there into my morning routine. It's got a thick serum texture but mixes well.
Bakel Antioxidant Serum: I liked the light serum hydrating texture. If it hadn't been on sale during a SpaceNK sale I would have never grabbed it as it's really pricey. It's basically three things- glycerin, lactobionic acid & gluconolactone. These are two PHAs poly hydroxy acids and glycerin. There are cheaper things out there.
YOU Skincare Radiant Perfecting Serum: I loved this. Very nice ingredients. Light exfoliator. More to come.
Alpha-H Vitamin B: I also loved this. Copper tri-peptides with a vanilla scent. Easy to layer. Very nice.
Bioderma Sensibo: My all time favorite eye makeup remover. It does not sting your eyes at all. Review HERE.
Collosol Eau de Lait: I liked this in my bath, not as a facial cleanser. Has a very strong French rose scent I can't take on my face.
Texas Collections Hand Cream: I grabbed this from HEB. It was a nice cheap hand cream. Smells like fresh cucumber melon.
Eufloria Botanicals Wild Chaga Moisturizer: This was very rich. Loved the ingredients, I repurposed to use on my arms before bed. Review HERE.
Elta MD Moisture-Rich Body Creme: This was a nice rich yet light body cream. Loved it.
Zelens Body Defense: I like this body oil sunscreen. Dry oil feel. Review HERE.
Zion Health Claydry Sweet Amber: I liked this natural deodorant. It works.
LTD Apothecary Pomegranate Lip Scrub: It was way too rough and large for lips so I repurposed to a body scrub.
LTD Apothecary Green Tea Face Scrub: This was an OK sugar body scrub. The little green flecks were hard to wash off.
LTD Apothecary Lavender Himalayan Salt Body Scrub: This was my favorite from this line as far as body scrubs. The salt burns my skin a little after shaving so I don't like salt scrubs in general. But I liked this one, left my skin soft and smooth.
Belif Peat Miracle Revital Cream: This was very rich cream. Almost too rich for my skin.
Eclado Cell Magic Skin Lotion: This is a light more like gel serum. It was OK, nothing special.
Sisley Eau Efficace: This is a nice eye makeup remover. I like it, a bit pricey.
La Mer The Perfecting Treatment: I loved this. A really nice light silicone primer. I would buy a big one. I really wish it came in a pump not a jar.
Siam Seas Morning Delight: This is an oil based morning cleanser but rinses clean. I liked it.
Bourjois Happy Light Matte Serum Primer: I liked this in the summer. Liquid primer, pretty mattifying. My pump died so out it goes. Looks discontinued.
5YINA Enlighten Spring Beauty Oil: I liked this oil. Not too fragranced. I love the concept of the brand.
Tata Harper Love Potion: This wasn't my favorite of her aromatherapy oils. Bedtime is still my number one. I don't see this one around anymore.
La Mer The Renewal Oil: I didn't think I would like this but it's nice. A lighter oil.
Hermes Le Jardin de Monsieur Li: Love Hermes light scents.
Sisley Hydra-Global Serum: This is a nice hydrating serum gel cream hybrid. Loved it, too pricey for me to buy.
Cocokind Rosewater Facial Toner: Eh this was OK. Smelled odd.
Commleaf Coin Mask: These are expandable sheet masks. Add liquid to expand. The fit isn't that good I wasn't a fan. Love the idea but I didn't really like them. To be fair I'm not a huge sheet mask lover.
Generation Bee Pink Grapefruit Lip Balm: This balm wasn't bad. It wasn't the best ever but it wasn't the worst.
Zelens 3t Complex: Love this cream. In my top 3 night creams. It's magical stuff. Review HERE.
Omorovicza Copper Peel: Love this peel. Quick and easy. One of my favorites of all time. Review HERE.
Mila Moursi Refining Lotion: A acid serum but it was a bit harsh on me. It stings. I didn't like it really.
Belif Peat Miracle Revital Serum Concentrate: I liked this. It has a light hydrating serum texture. I would try a big one.
Revision Brightening Facial Wash: This was a nice gel cleanser. I'm not the hugest gel cleanser fan so that's the only reason why I wouldn't get it.
Skinceuticals CE Ferulic: Love this stuff. The King of vitamin C serums. It's just so pricey.
Tata Harper Be Fierce Lip Treatment: I love this lip balm. This is a long time favorite. I think it just got discontinued sadly and replaced with Be True.
Su:m37 Water-full Skin Refresher: This is a nice toner. Hydrating.
O HUI Miracle Aqua Emulsion: This is a thicker emulsion essence. I liked it.
O HUI Miracle Aqua Skin Softener: This is a hydrating toner. It was nice.
Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Ginepro di Sardegna: An earthy cologne scent. It's OK, I have others I like more.
Instytutum Flawless Skin Mask: I adore this mask. It's biocellulose which is my favorite. More to come this week.
Joanna Vargas Bright Eye Firming Mask: I liked these hydrating gel eye patches. More to come this week as well.
Charlotte Tilbury The Retoucher 3 Medium: I like this concealer. I don't use it that often and one sample sachet lasts forever. Great for around the nose redness.
Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water: This is OK. Bioderma Sensibo is still my top favorite.
Fresh Vitamin Nectar Vitamin C Glow Powder: This is OK. It smells like orange and is brightening. Review HERE.
La Bella Figura Healing Manuka Mask: I liked this. Sticky, feels like honey. I would try it again but it's almost too sticky.
BeauteHacks Hydro-gel Eye Mask: I like these hydrating eye patches. Review on Instagram.
Blithe Tundra Chaga Pressed Serum: I love this stuff. A shiny looking cream with a lighter texture yet very hydrating and not greasy. Review HERE.
Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner: This is OK. I don't really use BHA toners that much I'm more of a combo BHA/AHA toner person.
ELEMIS Superfood Day Cream: I liked this. It's a little heavy for my taste in day creams.
Algenist Power Advanced Wrinkle Fighter 360 Eye Serum: This was an OK serum. Hydrating. Too small a sample to really see long term effects from.
Elta MD UV Sport SPF 50: I like this sunscreen. It's a great body sunscreen.
CNP Laboratory Propolis Energy Ampule: This was a nice hydrating liquid. It's a one use sample.
Himawari Volume Repair Shampoo & Conditioner: I liked this more than I thought I would. It was hydrating and didn't weigh my hair down.
