I never do a Black Friday blog post, but with my absence lately in posting reviews I feel I should do an overview of a few products so you can be prepared for sales. I'll list some of the sales I've shopped, ones I think are worth it, along with some of my favorites from those sites or brands.
If you have questions about any products please ask. It's hard to list every detail. I have dry, perimenopausal skin with rosacea. I tend to like things that work for me. If I don't list it, it's not that that product is bad or anything, maybe I just can't use it anymore. I no longer use acids, ascorbic acid and things that are irritating for me.
Again, please ask if you want to know if I've tried a product and you want to know more.
Links may be affiliate. It's not required but always appreciated if you shop through my links. It gives me more play money to buy new things to try for reviews. I promise more full reviews soon.
Dr. Sam's
November 20-27.
Digital gift card based on value spent ($20 for $100, $30 for $150, $40 for $200) + Free Shipping. You can save 10% on your first order with code BEAUTYENDEAVORBF (If code doesn't work try without BF).
They have some of the best moisturizers for dry skin. While there's no discount code, you do get gift cards back for the money you spend and there's free shipping. If you need to restock on anything now is the time. They typically don't do percentage off sales so there's really not a better time based on what I have seen in the past. My absolute favorites are the Flawless Moisturizer and Flawless Revival Mask. Here's my initial brand overview post and one more review. Flawless Revival Mask is my most used product from the brand. It's a glossy cream that is meant to be a wash off or leave on mask. It's a bit more lipid rich. Two layers at night and it's the most juicy night cream. It satisfies my dry skin. I do use an occlusive over it at times--more so in the winter. I do have the Flawless Moisturizer Intense on my wish list as well as a restock of the mask. Their body and hand cream are also pretty nice. I like the light textures yet they're nourishing.
If you're going to buy three items I suggest building a gift--you'll save an extra 10%.

Loving this cheap brand now available in the US. I just did a recent review HERE. My favorites are the Stress Less serum, A-Game retinal, Happy Barrier, Hydration Station, Jelly Joker and Liquid Hydration.

Make sure you go to the UK version and not the US site (when they ask if you want to go to the US site click stay on site, don't click over). They still ship to the US and the brand selection is better. They don't charge VAT tax to the US. I love to get Zelens, Zoeva, Uriage, Ultrasun, SVR, Medik8, La Roche-Posay and Bioderma. They have a nice mix of drugstore with high end brands.
Idivia.

I love this site. I get European sunscreen and skincare here. Some of my favorite barrier products I get here. They tend to be cheaper than some of the popular sites. I just shop around between these sites and see who has what I want in stock for the best rice.

There are some things I have really enjoyed from this brand. I have definitely not tried everything they offer. Their retinals are top notch. They have a special encapsulation that makes them super stable with great potency (not all retinoids are as stable as you think). I find them non-irritating in general. The intense version is pricey, but it's nice. More potent. Crystal Retinal is just as good I think, but it's nice to try the Intense version once. Here's a blog post with some items reviewed. I love Liquid Peptides. This serum has a light texture, isn't sticky plus it has a special delivery system making the peptides get where they need to. It's great for lines/wrinkles, firming and fighting loss of elasticity and sagging skin. My newest obsession is the OXY-R Peptides for pigmentation. It has 1% Oxyresveratrol plus Tetrapeptide-30 and Acetyl Glycyl Beta-Alanine two for brightening. Obviously it's Medki8 so they used a unique stabilization system to keep it effective. They're great at delivery systems. This has a water light texture which layers so easily. I apply first after an essence. It seems to be having a brightening effect on my pigmentation and I'm not even done with bottle one of two yet (two bottles come in a pack, each mixes fresh for best stability/effectiveness).
NIOD and The Ordinary

I recently have really fallen in love with the Wave Serum and moisturizer C.R.E.A.M. (for the record these are version 2.0, I have not tried version 1.0). Wave Serum has a thin slippery texture. For humectants it's got Acetamidoethoxyethanol, glycerin (10%), betaine, Hydroxyethyl Urea and Aquaxyl. So far I have been enjoying this one. I like misting then applying this serum. I like trying some of these new HA free serums, this one is pretty hydrating, it's light, not sticky (if you feel it's sticky just mist a little first). CREAM is a great day cream for dry skin. It's got ceramides, fatty acids and cholesterol plus a soothing complex including oat, bisabolol, allantoin, panthenol. The best part is the petrolatum. This ensures the moisturizer really has a nice lasting quality to it which is great for dry skin.
Lepaar
30% off with code WHITELIGHT, end date unknown.
This is an artisanal Australian brand that does herbal sun infused oils. Their facial oils are really beautiful. My all time favorites are the Smooth Operator (night oil with green coffee) and Summerwine (day oil with wine and antioxidants) facial oils, and the Luminous Beauty Balm. Read reviews of the facial oils HERE and the balm HERE.
Krave Beauty
15% off sitewide. No code needed.
You need to try Makeup Re-Wined cleanser. Think cleansing oil with a gel texture. Ultra thin, rinses clean. Has a light scent of natural grapes (nothing too sweet, just adds pleasure). I buy one or two every sale. If you like gel cleansers Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser is slippery and not drying. Review HERE. Great Body Relief is a really nice body lotion, nourishing but not too heavy. I am eyeing the new Oil La La as a purchase. Looks like an oil emulsion.
Allies of Skin and PSA
November 1-30th. Buy One Get One Free. Plus save an extra 15% with code MICHELLEN.
The new lip balm is great. Not too oily, not too waxy. Not too soft nor too hard texture wise. It's like the perfect middle. The Peptides & Antioxidant Firming Daily Treatment is a great day lotion. I'm also a big fan of the Retinal & Peptides Repair Night Cream. The Peptides & Omegas Firming Eye Cream is also one of my newest favorites. Rich and creamy but not too heavy. Great for lines. PSA Reset is a nice really light creamy cleanser with honey, acai and yoghurt. The Most is a pretty thick hydrating serum but it's nice. Think glycerin meets oils, like a gel oil emulsion. I loved Heroine back in the day as a gentle exfoliating toner. Light Up is also a fun gel-oil product with ascorbic acid. Use as a cleanser and a mask in one. Apply to dry skin in the morning, wait five minutes and rinse off. Overview of PSA HERE and Allies HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE.
VOTARY
November 17-27. 25% off site wide, no code. Free Intense Overnight Mask with $159+ orders.
You know I'm a huge fan of the brand. They make really great oils. Super Seed Facial Oil is my all time number one facial oil ever. It's great for sensitive skin, no essential oils. It's also not heavy. So if you didn't like a certain facial oil in the past, you might give this one a try. It's utter perfection. The new Super Sensitive Cleansing Cream is great if you like a traditional cream cleanser. Has a nice rich feel but it's not too heavy. The Radiance Reveal Mask is a gentle creamy exfoliating mask with lactic and mandelic acids. Love the creamy gel texture. Very gentle. When I used to get blemishes I really loved the Blemish Rescue Oil. It has tamanu and salicylic acid. It may seem counterintuitive to put an oil on a blemish but it works, helps it heal faster and doesn't let it turn into that dry scab on your face. I also thought the Super Glow Mask which is an oil mask, think facial oil texture, with salicylic acid. It's great as a non-drying mask to get rid of congestion, yet not be drying like a clay mask.
Harben House
30% off most brands with code BFVIP23. Free gift with $250 spend.
A place where I could spend a grand in thirty minutes. They do "medical grade skincare" brands. They carry Alastin, AnteAGE, Jan Marini, OBAGI, Revision, Sente, SkinMedica and others but those are the ones I buy the most there. I have a whole list of which products I like HERE. It's easier to link it as I already did the work listing them all. If I had to pick top things it would be: AnteAge MD Serum, Neocutis Lumiere Eye Cream, Sente Cysteamine HSA Pigmentation & Tone Corrector, Revision DEJ Eye and Face Creams, Jan Marini Age Intervention Face Cream, OBAGI Hydrate Luxe, Sente Dermal Contour Pressed Serum, Sente Daily Soothing Cleanser, SkinMedica TNS Advanced Serum and Alastin Restorative Skin Complex, Neck Complex and Eye Treatment.
Skin Beautiful RX
30% off most brands with code BF30. Free gifts with tiered spend.
Similar to Harben House this is a "medical grade" retailer. I have a list of this things I would buy from their site HERE. A lot of similar brands as Harben House but they do have more selections like Alumier, Calecim, Fitglow, SkinBetter, Le Mieux, Plated, Rescue MD and Replenix. Same favorites above count here as well. Add on SkinBetter Techno Neck Cream/Even/Trio, Plated Intesne or Daily serum (not into Calm with the menthol), Le Mieux ISO-Cell Recovery Mist, Fitglow Lip Serums, Alumier HydraRich/Sensicalm/Ultimate Boost Serum.
Indeed Labs

They only do 50% off once a year, you won't see the deal again. I made that mistake last year. Microbiome Essence is my number one by the brand. It's a light essence with a fermented complex of minerals, amino acids and vitamins, a marine postbiotic, hydrators: glycerin, saccharide isomerate and glutamic acid. It's such a good essence and first step. In my top 3 ever for essences. I bought four already on sale. I love the Hydraluron+ Lip Treatment--it's a glossy balm but it's pretty moisturizing and it lasts. 10Balm is OK as a lipid cream if you don't need a ton of moisture, more for combo to less dry skin. Hydraluron Moisture Jelly is fun. Snoxin II is the other thing I would say is worth trying for lines and wrinkles. Has Matryxl Synthe 6 and Neuropeptide XEP-018.
DefenAge
Buy One Get One Free. Free gift with tiered spend. Double Loyalty Points.
Powered by patented (and exclusive to the brand) Defensin molecules which work with your stem cells to help dormant cells promote cell regeneration and repair. Ultimately it helps with lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, dullness, elasticity and firmness. I've been using it for a year now, I think it has helped my skin feel less irritated and red, more resilient. My skin feels more vibrant and healthier. About two months into using it last year I had several people ask 'what are you doing?' It was this 8-in-1 Bioserum. It made my skin so much healthier looking. And honestly combined with LED masks I haven't used a retinoid in months, so rarely even over the last year and my skin looks better than before. More firm and less wrinkles even without retinoids. It's expensive I know. It's kinda magical though. This has replace a ton of other expensive products for me. I use it at night only though I did two a day the first three months. Apply as the last step (I know it feels weird to put a serum over a moisturizer but that's how it works). It travels down the hair follicles and stops anything else from penetrating so don't put actives on after, this serum is last. Minus Sunscreen or like an occlusive, those can go on top. I like the eye cream as well. I just started the new nail serum three days ago and I hate to admit that even in three days my nails look and feel better. I don't want to like it because it's expensive, but there's something about it. That's all I can say. This is the best deal of the year, they don't do sales often. The double points is great too.

I live by my LED face mask for reducing redness, inflammation and helping with signs of aging. If you can be consistent and stick with 4-5 nights a week you'll eventually see a reduction in line/wrinkle depth and an increase in firmness, elasticity and collagen stimulation. Read in depth blog post on the mask HERE and the neck HERE.
Stratia Skin

An affordable brand with a cult following. I like Lipid Gold (formerly Liquid Gold), the new Lipid Gold Eye Cream. Review HERE. Velvet Cleansing Milk is a long time favorite. Think creamy cleanser with a hint of a gel vibe. So good for dry and sensitive skin. Doesn't leave a residue. It's fantastic. In my top 3 fav cream cleansers. Review HERE. Interface is a new peptide packed gel cream. For the price it's great. The peptides are encapsulated. It has growth factors and peptides. I love using it as a gel cream layer in my Dry Skin Sandwich method (see my Instagram page).
Deviant Skincare

Cleansing Concentrate has long been my favorite product they make. It's a buttery textured balm that emulsifies and rinses clean. No essential oils but it still has this nice pleasurable earthy scent. I've been through quite a few jars. If I had to only have two it would be this and the Krave Re-Wined in the morning. There is a blue tansy version if you fancy that scent. Review HERE. The Facial Oil is great as well. No essential oils, it's not heavy. I have tried the Pigmentation Corrector Serum and it has a nice gel texture that's non-irritating. I need to do a two bottle in a row test but it was pretty good. I did not give it a fair test. I got my first bottle when I was going to start the Sente Cysteamine product which takes 16 weeks committed to it. That's why I haven't reviewed it yet, I will do it soon with two bottles. I just bought the Essential Hydration Serum and I like the texture so far. It has oils, humectants and amino acids but it's not oily or heavy. Nice non-sticky texture.
Photozyme
40% off sitewide. Unknown end date. Code BLACK40. Free Shipping.
The DNA Youth Recovery Serum is the only thing I have tried from the brand. It uses 3 DNA repair enzymes to help repair previous damage and protect against future damage acting like an antioxidant. It has a nice creamy silky texture that isn't heavy on the skin. DNA repair enzymes are said to help reduce lines/wrinkles and sun spots from photo damage. Sounds great right? I'm almost done with bottle 3. I grabbed a few last year during the 40% off sale (FYI it is the best sale of the year, there is no equivalent later, I learned that one). DNA repair enzymes are like a leap of faith--much like antioxidants. You really don't see the effects of daily antioxidant use (minus ascorbic acid related to brightening). Have you ever noticed reduction of lines/wrinkles or spots from a basic antioxidant serum? Even if you use it daily? Probably not. You're taking it at face value that it is helping prevent future damage and helps boost your sunscreen. The only way to really notice an antioxidant effect would be to use it on only half of your face for years, probably even a decade--then compare sides. No one is going to do that. Again it's a leap of faith. You can either take it, or don't. Many people spend way more on fancy antioxidant serums, a DNA repair enzyme is no different. And it's not's as expensive as luxury skincare. I don't believe in the whole there's no research on it so it can't be true aspect--There's not much research in most aspects of skincare minus retinol, ascorbic acid and other major ingredients. Research is expensive--no one wants to fund that. Leap of faith is yours or not. Am I going to notice a miracle after one year of use after thirty years of abuse without sunscreen to my skin? Probably not.

The Over Drive loafer is my favorite work shoe. Padded sole. Very comfortable and they holds up well. I've been through multiple pairs and they're durable as well as comfortable. I wear them into the ground. They're cheaper than many loafers but more comfortable and well made.
Rothy's
30% off sitewide. Unknown end date.
Rothy's rarely go on a good sale. It used to only be for healthcare workers which is when I got my first pair. Right now they're all 30% off. I love my driver shoes I got. They're washable and so comfortable. I highly recommend checking them out. I've never seen a complaint about Rothy's shoes from my co-workers. I just grabbed the sneakers and a flat to add to my collection. The washable part is the best, they hold up so well. I wear mine on my days off all the time.
ONDO
15% off sitewide. Unknown end date.
If you wear loafers or any kind of dress shoes you need to check out these no show socks. These have been my work staple for almost two years now. They claim to not slip off the feet and it's true. They have a hint of silicone on the heel to stick on and not slide down. The cheap Target ones I get always slide off a few hours into the day. Never with ONDO. They're really great. You can wear them in sneakers as well. They're lightweight and never make my feet sweat, they actually help keep my feet drier (as much as they can).
Naturium
25% off. Code CYBER2023.
The Multi-Peptide Serum just launched, I would definitely go for this one if you like peptides. Has encapsulated copper tri-peptide and argerieline. The Glow-Getter Body Wash is my most repurchased item. It's high glycerin with oils and slippery. Great to shave in the shower with. The Vitamin K Liposome Serum is an other favorite. Soothing and helps reduce redness. Phyto-Glow Lip Balm is thick and long lasting. I love clear and Spice the most. The Multi-Calm Cream Cleanser is a great cheap creamy cleanser that doesn't leave a residue. I like the Vitamin C Body Wash for it's uplifting scent and glossy texture.

I adore the Indigo Overnight Repair cream. OMG is it utterly fantastic. Described as a serum in cream product. This has a nice glossy gel texture that is just so plumping and soothing. There's a reason everyone likes it. It's pricey but it's fabulous. It has no fragrance, ceramides, Japanese Indigo extract and mondo grass root. You have to try it. The new Indigo Cleansing Balm is great as well. It's fragrance free, has a light buttery soft texture and rinses clean with no residue. It's nice. If you like a watery essence for a hydrating layer try The Essence. It's easy to slap on three layers in the morning for a hydrating base on your skin prepping it before serums. It's mainly their Hadasei-3 Complex which is their patented double fermented blend of Akita rice, Uji green tea and Okinawa algae. The Serum Stick is another favorite. This solid oil stick has 80% squalane, their Hadasei-3 Complex and Japanese lemon balm. It's fabulous under the eyes or swiped on your cheeks when they're dry.

The After Show Treatment Cleanser is iconic. One of the first gel-oil balms that hit the market. I like the sensitive skin version now but I used to love the original before I was more sensitive. The Performance Eye Gel is a staple in my house. It's thick and lasts. No eye gels last a long time, they dissapear the minute they get applied. This one lasts. And depuffs with caffeine. Hydrate Facial Serum was recently revamped, and for the best. It's thicker than it was before, and longer lasting with the hydration. It used to be thin, now it's more gel textured. I like the new version a lot more than the old one. It's also got a pump now versus a dropper. Bonus. The Matinee Cream Cleanser is a gentle cream cleanser, it's thicker in texture but not too heavy. I like to mix it with a hint of water before cleansing. The Matinee Gel Cleanser is not one I use anymore, but it's a cult favorite for a reason. Think thick gel with a kick of salicylic acid to unclog pores. The Antioxidant Treatment Emulsion is new. I wanted to post about it before sales but haven't been able to. Think creamy lotion emulsion texture with niacinamide, resveratrol, astaxanthin and palmitoyl tripeptide-8. Great for sensitive skin as there's no vitamin C. It's also moisturizing so great for dry skin.

This has become a great site for me. They're a UK site selling sunscreen and beauty products to the US (among other places). I get Riemann P20 here, Zelens and other brands. It's not a huge site but check it out. They do have some good deals often. Zelens ius on sale for 20% off right now which is cheaper than the US Zelens site doing 30% off. There's not VAT tax and Zelens official site is more expensive than every European site that sells to the US. Look for a EU site to buy Zelens. 3t Complex is one sale for $85.60 right now, it's $147 on the Zelens site normally and $103 at 30% off. 3t Complex is their best moisturizer. It's glossy and rich, firms the skin. Been using it for almost ten years at this point. Check out the brands they have and see how the price compares, if they have a sale they tend to have good prices. Zelens reviews HERE, HERE
Peach & Lily

Peach & Lily started selling other Korean brands then they became their own brand. You can buy both on their website. I'm a fan of the thin texture of the Wild Dew Treatment Essence and the Glass Skin Veil Mist is one I use all the time. My initial brand overview is HERE. I recently tried the Ginger Melt Oil Cleanser which is nice-- it does the job and rinses clean. My new favorite from the brand is the Copper Peptide Pro Firming Serum. It's got this beautiful thin bouncy texture that sinks in beautifully. It's thicker than the essence but thinner than a typical serum. It's just utterly lightweight and not sticky. Adore the texture. This serum has 13 peptides, amino acids, collagen extract, polysaccharides, and plant extracts like shiitake mushroom, chicory root, watermelon/apple/lentil fruit (hydrating combo), squalane, turmeric, and paracress. I wouldn't call it a copper peptide serum per se especially if you're into the typical NIOD CAIS copper peptide serums (the percentage is way less), it's really more of a multi-peptide serum with lots of other hydrators like amino acids and collagen. It's easily my favorite product they've created to date. Can't beat 25% off to try it.

I adore so many of their products. Been using the brand for about 10 years since it's initial launch. The Artistique Eyeshadows are great, Lipslique in Hevyn, Surreal Skin Concealer has been my staple for years, Dew Drop Foundation is perfection--two drops is enough to cover your face, never feels heavy, Expressioniste Brow Pencil in Blonde is my most repurchased--it's the perfect color for me and I love it's refillable. If you wear powder the Diaphane Loose Powder in Matte is so fine and imperceivable on the skin. I adore the Medium Classic Shadow Brush, I use it all the time. Reviews HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE. I'm a big fan of the Age-Reversing All-In-One Concentrate as an anti-aging peptide product, the Vitamin B All-In-One Concentrate is soothing like a day cream, Concentrated Revitalizing Lifting Mask works as a nice glossy night cream, the Moisture-Balance Face Cleanser has a nice creamy, slippery, gel texture that's not drying (it lives in my shower right now). I did like the body wash and shampoo, they're great--but I dislike the reformulation that just made them smaller and more expensive. I do like the Compound K Hyaluronic Booster but it's so expensive. Texture is really nice and light plus it has a concentrated amount of their signature compound k ingredient (one of the main bioactive components of ginseng). Reviews HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE.

Skincare wise the Power Serum and Priming Moisturizer are great. I actually wish I didn't like them due to the price, but I do. The serum is light and gives the skin a nice glow. I prefer the bronze shade of the moisturizer for a kiss of color. It's actually quite nice for dry skin as a day moisturizer. Makeup wise the Satin Kajal Liner is exquisite. I like Cocoa, Cinnamon and Olive the most. These glide on like butter. So smooth. The Eye Wear sticks don't crease or budge. Caramel is my favorite shade. Posh Lipstick is great, slightly sheer, thin and hydrating. Girl followed by Twist are my favorites. Cheeky Posh blush sticks are nice. They last for a cream formula. Playground is my most worn shade. The Lip Definer in No.2 is a great my lips but better shade. I like the Bitten Lip Tint in Amour, it's not hydrating enough alone, add a Fitglow Lip Serum over it. One of my favorite lip combos. Review HERE, HERE and HERE.

Instant Angel is great as a day moisturizer for me. Less dry peeps can use it at night. If you've wanted to try it now is the time. The new gel cream is too light for me, but if you're more oily you'll like it, has a more satin matte finish. I have not tried Deliverance (sold out anyway) or the eye gel. The Forever Eye Mask is loved by many for their reusability. Think thin silicone eye patches you use with a serum. I still never use mine, but many swear by it.

Super affordable brand. I would grab the Skin Utility Ointment, Barrier Therapy and Gleanser (sould out right now sorry). I love the ointment, think thinner than Aquaphor but still has lasting power. The cream is nice, little light for my face but it's great on the body.
