I don’t use too much Burberry Beauty makeup in general. There are a few Burberry compacts now and then that are just stunning. This My Burberry Blush Palette is one of those. I was very intrigued by the floral design. Details per Nordstrom:
A limited-edition illuminating face powder for a soft glow with a hint of color. Combining subtle rosy color and illuminating pearls, this soft-as-silk powder creates a glowing, flushed effect on the cheeks. The lightweight, easily blendable powder formula can be layered for custom intensity and has a nonchalky finish.
The blush is actually an almost matte neutral rosy mauve. It’s got ever so much a hint of shimmer. So think cross between satin and matte. The shimmery part is over-spray that disappears quickly. The texture is divine. It’s very lightweight, not powdery, pigmented, silky and it blends like a dream. It’s really a lovely formula I’d love to see them expand upon in a more permanent collection.
The case is the same as their usual products–The steel plastic with the Burberry pattern. It’s not a cheap blush at $68 though you do get a larger pan. It’s a really nice natural shade with an amazing formula, just a tad overpriced for what it is. If you love Burberry, collecting limited edition items & mauve blushes this is for you.
