Another week of 2020 over. Can't help but think it's a countdown to the end. I grabbed my Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham Modern Mercury Highlighter all week. I love not only the cool packaging but the almost sweaty kind of look the deeper rose gold nude gives your skin. It's not a pale highlight, more of a sheen it gives the skin. Review HERE and yes sadly it was limited edition. All week I've also been reaching for my Decorte Cream Blush in BE350. This cream blush has the best bouncy texture. The shade is a pink nude. If you like a satin finish cream blush that's not overtly emollient you'll love it. Review HERE. bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Hydrating Foundation Stick is a nice stick foundation perfect for this summer heat. It's lightly cooling on the skin when applied. It's got light to medium coverage and a soft dewy finish. It's never heavy or greasy feeling on the skin. Review HERE.

The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA is one of my all time favorite moisturizers. It's so simple yet so effective and completely affordable. I just finished tube number three. I use it on Ella all the time as her night moisturizer. It makes a great hand cream or soothing layer on the skin. I'm particularly loving it as a layer to help with mask irritation in our current climate. It's light yet nourishing and replenishing plus cheap and effective. Review HERE. Bioderma Matricium is also helping me a lot with mask irritation. This water light fluid replenishes the skin and helps repair and restore. It's amazing on irritated skin for soothing. It's normally a winter item for me but right now I use it all the time. It's easily one of the best soothing treatments ever. Review HEREVotary makes the best oils ever. Their Super Boost Night Drops are amazing for soothing. This oil is fragrance and essential oil free based on their Super Seed line (my favorite) plus it has soothing and anti-inflammatory CBD. It has a medium weight texture and I love how healing it has been. I'm going through mine so fast.

I forgot how much I loved my Neostrata Dermal Replenishment Face Cream. It's medium weight and has a light yet nourishing feel on the skin. It has amino acids and natural moisturizing factors. i Profumi di Firenze Brezza di Mare is one of those random scents I found online when just randomly looking around. It's a light sea based scent combined with watermelon. In the summer it's so amazing as it's so light and refreshing. If you like a light natural but not sweet sea and melon scent, you'll love it. It's not the easiest to find. Opens with top notes of fleur de sel and bergamot from the Calabrian coast. Freshly picked lemons and limes from Sicily are touched with a whisper of fresh watermelon. I've been playing around with Ayuna's new re-launch of VELO the last week or so. This is a 6-in-1 day protection cream. Think of it essentially like a BB cream, it has a tint, hydrates like skincare and has SPF 30 (per EU guidelines not US). This has a unique texture. It goes from an oil-in-water to a water-in-oil once warmed and worked in the fingers. Once you apply it has an almost dry oil kind of hydrating feel yet it also feels velvety in texture. It's not heavy. It manages to be hydrating and velvety semi-matte at the same time. The re-vamp has a slimmer easier to use package plus it's been reduced in price. You can save 15% on your whole Ayuna order through the end of the month with code thebeautyendeavor-15 (order must include VELO).

  1. I’ recently came across your blog and can I just say how much I love your product recommendations and intelligent yet relatable style of writing. This is the best beauty blog I’ve EVER read! There’s not one “dud” post and I greatly appreciate your focus on more under the radar brands and also your commitment to recommending products based on specific skin conditions and types. It’s such a huge time saver to find out a product is both fragrance and essential oil free in one of your articles and immediately helps take away the guessing game and ingredient decoding I typically have to go through as someone with rosacea. Thank you for your amazing content—I’m now a dedicated reader and look forward to all your new posts.
