Lord Jones went and released a lip balm and I love it so far. The CBD Lip Balm is light and moisturizing without being too heavy. I love that it has a grapefruit kind of scent versus mint. All the CBD ones I’ve seen so far have mint which irritates my lips. I love the slim case as well and it’s actually pretty affordable for a high end lip balm. The texture is really nice and light yet nourishing. I finally polished off my Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham Morning Aura primer. This illuminating primer had a satin finish with pearl. It’s less hydrating and has more pearl than the new Augustinus Bader version. Sadly it’s discontinued but review is HERE. I’m trying to actively finish my Biologique Recherche Emulsion Originelle Regenerante. This is a lighter lotion that’s soothing, calming & always helps repair my barrier. I can’t imagine not having it around. It seems really simple but it’s a great product if you like BR and need some soothing like rosacea or need barrier repair. Review HERE.

I’m also really getting back into my Revision DEJ Face Cream now that it’s colder. I love it during colder months. It has ursolic acid which I adore as an ingredient. It also has prebiotics and peptides. I find it so good and plumping, nourishing and firming. It just gives me healthy feeling skin. Review HERE. Bioderma Matricium is another favorite of mine in the winter. This water light fluid can be used as an essence or lightly hydrating serum. It has things found naturally in the skin and restores & replenishes helping heal or regenerate the skin. Easily one of my favorite barrier repair and healthy skin products. Review HERE. The Ordinary “Buffet” + Copper Peptides 1% is one product I’ve been meaning to try forever. I’m a huge fan of NIOD CAIS and “Buffet” was one of my favorite The Ordinary serums. It seems like a great way to get the copper tri-peptides I love and anti-aging peptides in one. It doubles as a hydrating serum plus it’s well priced for what it is (copper tri-peptides are expensive). I like the thin texture. More to come.

Trinny London Eye2Eye was one of the best finds of late last year. Loving these cream eyeshadows. They layer well and don’t crease. They last all day. Review HERE. I recently grabbed a few more. Fortune is a shimmering copper neutral. Great for layering. Desire is one I hesitated on the first two rounds of purchasing but I’m so glad I grabbed it. Described as a shimmering crimson burgundy but it’s really more a burgundy brown. Love it. Byredo Tobacco Mandarin is my most recent fragrance purchase. I’ve been really limited with the fragrances lately as far as purchasing. I love Byredo and I love tobacco scents so I took a chance. The notes are:

  • Top: Mandarin, Coriander, Cumin
  • Heart: Labdanum, Leather, Tobacco
  • Base: Sandalwood, Oud, Olibanum

It’s a heavier scent for sure. This oriental woody scent has an amber, woody, tobacco, spicy, leather kind of scent. It’s like a leather meets tobacco but it’s not too heavy or dry. It has a hint of warmth and sometimes it almost smells like honey but it is a hint of citrus. It’s deep for sure but pretty wearable unlike some tobacco scents I’ve tried.
