Rahua Enchanted Island Salt Spray

While I've been moving away from traditional salt sprays to more texture based sprays, I'm a huge Rahua lover so I had to grab their newest addition to the line--Enchanted Island Salt Spray Inspired by the salty mist of the Galapagos islands, this pink sea salt-based styling spray gives hair the perfectly textured waves. I love the glass bottle. Not really travel friendly, but I never travel so I love glass. I love salt and texture sprays. I always air dry and never blow dry my hair. I'm always looking for some texture and lift in my fine hair. Salt sprays tend to give it but have this bad habit of going flat & causing frizz by the end of the day. That's why I've been using stickier texture sprays lately. The hold is better with them. Salt sprays are softer & I still love a salt spray now and then, as long as it's a good one.

This Rahua Enchanted Island Salt Spray is a good one. The pink salt is mild and not over-drying like some can be. There's no denatured alcohol so no extra drying effect like some salt sprays I've tried. There's no extra oils in this one. Some salt sprays have oils that help condition, soften and counteract the drying effect of the salt. Oddly I found this one doesn't need it.

This spray gives light waves with less dryness. My hair was so soft while using this. It does flatten some by the end of the day but I experienced less frizz than normal with these types of products. The scent is not a typical beachy coconut or tropical scent. It's got a fruit scent to it that's almost guava like.
