Top 3: Lightweight or Day Moisturizers

I have a severe weakness for lightweight lotions and moisturizers. I love collecting them. They’re so easy to layer with other serums and not get a heavy feeling on the skin. I tried to narrow this list down to my top three but could not choose only three. I narrowed it down to four. Two of these are perfect day moisturizers in warmer weather and two are perfect for cooler weather. Since it’s hot as hell and summertime right now I’ll start with the two perfect for warm weather.

I adore pretty much everything Allies of Skin makes. Amazing inci lists, stellar products, high quality, innovative ingredients. Their Molecular Multi-Nutrient Day Cream is one of my all time favorite lightweight moisturizers. I love the easy airless pump, it’s also easy to travel with and unbreakable. It’s got antioxidants, hydrators and a nutrient complex. My skin never feels greasy or heavy when I wear this. Just silky soft and smooth. It’s one of those lotions where I want to touch my face all day after putting it on because it makes my skin feel so good. It’s so lightweight yet so nourishing. It’s literal perfection. The other lightweight moisturizer is by Skinbetter Science. The InterFuse Treatment Cream also makes me want to touch my face all day because it leaves it so soft. Skinbetter is a medical grade line only sold by physicians. This has a light lotion texture that leaves a satin almost velvety feel to the skin. It makes a gorgeous canvas for makeup. It’s got antioxidants and peptides with the goal of helping build collagen, smooth and firm the skin. I like those goals. This comes in a twist top airless pump. Full review HERE.

I did speak about Revision Skincare DEJ Face Cream recently as it’s a new discovery of mine. This very quickly became a new favorite. This is also a medical or cosmeceutical brand. It’s a bit heavier so I like it in the cooler months as a day cream. This has a cool black metal airless pump. DEJ Face Cream has antioxidants, prebiotics, peptides, ceramides and one of my all time favorite ingredients-ursolic acid. There is just something about this ingredient. Every time I test a product that contains it I fall in love with it. This cream covers all the bases, never feels heavy and completely nourishes and helps with aging. Win win. Full review HERE.

I haven’t gotten to fully write about Biologique Recherche Emulsion Originelle Regenerante yet but it’s a new favorite as well. I discovered this last September when I went to New York and promptly bought a full size because it’s really good. This is lightweight but does have a more creamy hydrating feel to it. It’s great for cooler months. It comes in a plastic airless pump that’s also easy to travel with. It’s fragrance free and geared towards soothing and calming the skin. So it’s great at restoring the skins moisture barrier. That also makes it perfect for cooler months. It’s got fatty acids and even colostrum to moisturize. I like this for soothing and repairing the skin. Even though it has quite a bit of moisturizers it’s still light and not heavy feeling. It’s just completely nourishing to the skin.

Top to Bottom-Allies of Skin, Revision, Skinbetter, Biologique Recherche:

None of these are cheap, but they are stellar examples of lightweight day moisturizers that have full and effective skincare benefits. There’s a reason I talk about them all the time. I compare a lot of new products to these four. While none of them are bad products they just can’t beat them because they’re that good. These are all worth the splurge and have full Beauty Endeavor approval.
