Omorovicza Cashmere Cleanser & Hydra Melting Cleanser

By now you know I have a serious addiction to all things Omorovicza. The Hungarian spa brand can do no wrong. They recently launched the Cashmere Cleanser & repackaged the Hydra Melting Cleanser. The Cashmere Cleanser is a creamy cleanser. Details per Omorovicza:

This gentle, comforting yet indulgent cleanser has the soft feel of Cashmere as it glides onto the skin. Infused with nourishing, gentle and soothing age defying actives, this light formulation removes impurities without stripping, leaving skin feeling cashmere soft, hydrated and clean.

This gentle, soothing & hydrating creamy cleanser is suitable for all skin types including sensitive. Its got a divine light creamy texture that will leave your skin hydrated, soft & never dry or tight. This doesn’t foam so it’s perfect for a morning cleanse or second night cleanse if you like creamy cleansers that way. I like it both ways. I’ve used this both on dry or damp skin and it works both ways. I would say it’s personal preference at that point.
Cashmere Cleanser has the magical Hungarian thermal water (rich in vitamins & minerals) & calendula to soothe. Glycerin, sunflower & apricot kernel oils, shea butter and phospholipids hydrate and replenish skin, helping to keep your moisture barrier intact. I love the matte plastic airless pump. If you like luxe creamy cleansers this one is definitely worth checking out.

A few years back Omorovicza launched their Hydra Melting Cleanser and it was instant love for me. However, I hated the jar packaging it came in. I used mine up because I adored it but never repurchased only for that reason. Omorovicza has finally repackaged it in an airless matte plastic pump in a stunning teal shade. I’m now a happy person. Details per Omorovicza:

Redolent of the finest spa because of a stimulating blend of essential oils, this triple-phase formula cleanses and invigorates the skin. The gel texture melts into an oil as it is massaged into skin. The addition of water transforms it into a milky emulsion that rinses away with ease.

  • Sea buckthorn berry oil is rich in vitamins A, C and E and Omega 7, which purify and regenerate the skin.
  • Essential oils of sage, rose geranium and Roman chamomile have an astringent and antiseptic effect as well as calming the senses.
  • Omorovicza’s patented Hydro Mineral Transference™ system, leaves skin firmer, more supple and younger-looking.

Directions Apply to dry skin and massage well. Add warm water to form a milky emulsion before rinsing away.

The teal colored Hydra Melting Cleanser has a gel balm texture. I’m obsessed with gel balm cleansers. They’re my favorite type of cleanser. A gel balm cleanser gives you the best of both worlds-you get the makeup removal power of an oil based cleanser & it rinses clean like a gel style cleanser. I apply this type of cleanser on dry skin to remove makeup at night, you can follow with a light cleanser (like Cashmere Cleanser) if you wish or just use alone. These also make great morning cleansers. Hydra Melting Cleanser will remove all makeup with ease, it rinses clean to leave behind baby soft skin that’s never stripped. If I could only use one type of cleanser forever it would be a gel balm because it can do it all.

Hydra Melting Cleanser is a luxurious gel balm cleanser. It smells earthy green like sage. This has sage, rosemary, rose geranium & roman chamomile for an essential oil aroma thats soothing and calming. These oils also have astringent and antibacterial properties. It hydrates with glycerin, phospholipids, apricot, sunflower & seabuckthorn oils. Mallow flower extract soothes with it’s anti-inflammatory benefits. Copper gluconate helps regulate sebum and minimize breakouts. It also gives this cleanser it’s blue hue. This cleanser is suitable for all skin types but sensitive may want to test it first due to the essential oils. This has camphor in the inci list but honestly this doesn’t have any kind of cooling effect or typical feel that camphor normally does. I wouldn’t have even known had I not read the label.

Think of Cashmere Cleanser as the gentle, soothing, balancing creamy cleanser. Hydra Melting Cleanser is anti-inflammatory and removes impurities. Both are amazing choices but I would pick Hydra Melting Cleanser easily as my favorite of the two. I actually bought one when I saw it was repackaged then got one kindly sent by the brand as well a week later. Now worries as I will easily use them both up. Hydra Melting Cleanser is one of my all time favorite gel balm cleansers and I would repurchase easily. If you like gel balm cleansers you should definitely look at this one, though I know it’s a bit pricey.
