I wanted to start doing a top three favorites post so I’m going to start with In-Shower cleansers and a new beauty tool. Holistic Beauties BFF (Best Face Friend) is a medical grade silicone cleansing device that pulsates using high vibration technology to clean out those pores. You already know I’m a huge fan of the Foreo Luna Mini. These type of beauty tools really help aid in the cleansing process. I love that they are gentle & so much more sanitary than the Clarisonic (which I used for years). I currently rotate through these three gel cleansers (with the BFF) in the morning when I shower-Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, January Labs Pure & Gentle Cleansing Gel & iS Clinical Cleansing Complex. These types of devices work best with a gel cleanser. I use the front side & work it all over my face then switch to the back side with the larger bristles to get into the nose and chin area for a better clean. Fresh Soy Face Mask has been a favorite of mine for a long time. It’s simple, cheap and it works without stripping the skin. It smells great like cucumbers which is one of my favorite scents. This cleanser has rosewater, borage seed oil & soy proteins rich in amino acids. This large limited edition illustrated tube was given to me by the brand but I’ve gone through countless tubes in the past.
January Labs Pure & Gentle Cleansing Gel is a simple gel cleanser. It’s got willow bark (natural BHA to clear pores), green tea, vitamin C & E, licorice, sodium PCA, grapeseed extract, phospholipids, papaya & aloe. I love the gentle gel nature and it never leaves my skin dry. It’s a huge bottle as well that’s decently priced. It’s also a natural or green beauty brand so no nasties if you like that. iS Clinical Cleansing Complex is one of my all time favorite gel cleansers. It’s great for problem skin. You want to help control oil and clear pores this is your cleanser. It contains willow bark extract (natural BHA) plus antioxidants like chamomile and centella asiatica. I really liked the Holistic Beauties BFF. It works and it’s a worthwhile investment. It really helps smooth my skin texture especially around the nose.
