It's finally warm and sunny again this week (sorry East Coast). Along with the sun came humidity, which means time to switch to lighter products. I've been reaching for the Kat Burki Power Trio Radiance Oil a ton the last few weeks. It's silky texture is lightweight yet nourishing. Packed with tamanu, kukui nut & raspberry oils. This also has the KB5 Complex (arnica, gotu kola, lavendar, calendula, chamomile). Add a little rosehip seed oil, vitamin E & avocado oil for a delicious oil. More to come.
I finally grabbed a second bottle of the Su-man Rehydrating Toning Essence. I love how this gel turns into a liquid on contact with the skin for a hydrating and fun essence. I love the pump glass packaging as well. The key ingredients are hyaluronic acid, rose petal and green tea. It also contains honey and witch hazel. Yes please. I discussed the brand a bit HERE.
Fresh Sugar Face Polish has been a staple in my cabinet for well over a decade. Probably closer to fifteen years. This brown sugar & strawberry concoction is perfect in the shower. I apply to damp skin while I shave my legs. This mask melts into the skin softening and hydrating my face. I adore this product & can't live without it. Review HERE.
CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion is my favorite drugstore lotion. It's lightweight, hydrating and fragrance free. As non-irritating as can be. Review HERE. The Wayne Goss #14 Brush is one of those random use brushes I can't live without. I love its fluffy low density feel. It's perfect for removing eyeshadow fall out. It's been redone in a white hair. Review HERE.
Ormonde Jayne is one of my favorite perfumers. The British brand is niche and unique. I've been reaching for QI EDP all week. Part of the Four Corners of the Earth Collection QI is a light, green, floral with a hint of woods. Top Notes: Neroli, Green lemon blossom, Freesia. Heart Notes: Tea notes, Osmanthus, Violet, Hedione, Rose. Base Notes: Mate, Musk, Benzoin, Moss, Myrrh. This is perfect for spring without being too floral and sweet.
Top to Bottom--Fresh Sugar Face Polish, FENTY, Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham, SUQQU:
I've been reaching for my FENTY Beauty Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Primer a lot. It's got a really nice sating finish. Perfect for this spring weather. Review HERE. I tend to gravitate towards cream blushes as the weather gets warmer. They go well with lighter foundations. I've been loving the easy creamy texture of the Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham Blonde Mink Cheek Creme. It's the perfect rosy nude. Review HERE. Unfortunately this shade was limited and is sold out.
SUQQU just launched a new foundation and I'm head over heals already. The Nude Wear Liquid has a superb lightweight fluid texture that layers well and provides a flawless light to medium coverage. It has a light dewy finish. If you wanted to love Armani Maestro but hated the alcohol in it or the way it clung to dry patches, then try this one. This foundation is alcohol free and hydrating without being greasy or heavy. I have shade 003 in the photo and 203 on its way to me. More to come.
SUQQU’s Nude Wear Liquid easily glides on and blends in to harmonise with the skin with no trace of itself - creating the illusion of bare skin’ that’s fresh, clean and almost undetectable. With a rich concentrate of skincare ingredients including “Light Complex” and four Japanese native natural extracts - including Olive Leaf, Angelica Keiskei Leaf, Alpina Speciosa Leaf and Okura - it instantly uplifts your complexion with a fresh glow that lasts all day.
