Sorry for the delay in the January Samples & Empties Post. The last few weeks have been pretty busy compared to normal. So quick thoughts on each starting above.
Clinique Moisture Surge Supercharged Concentrate: I liked this a lot. It's affordable and has a fun texture with the beads. I probably won't but it again just because there are so many hydrating serums to play with I always have a new one. Review HERE.
Lovinah Super Green Serum: I loved this serum. Nice slippery light texture. Review HERE.
Herbivore PRISM: This was OK. I liked it but it's very light and gentle, but it oxidizes really bad. It needs a light safe container. Review HERE.
La Bella Figura Modern Radiance Concentrate: I liked this natural vitamin C and antioxidant serum a lot. Stellar ingredient list. More to come soon.
Anne Semonin Cream Mask: This was a nice creamy hydrating mask. The end split open before I used it all so I just tossed it. I'm not really into the wash off creamy masks I like the leave on ones better.
Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask: Love this deep cleansing clay mask to death. An all time favorite. It's better than all the rest. I just let my jar go bad so I grabbed a new one. I don't do too many detox masks anymore. Review HERE.
Dr.Jart+ UV Sun Fluid SPF 30: Loved this fluid sunscreen. No white cast, no heavy texture. Like a light fluid coverage. It got discontinued sadly. I think it's been reformulated but I haven't seen the new one come back to the states yet. Review HERE.
Drunk Elephant Shaba Complex Eye Serum: I loved this light creamy eye serum. Second bottle I used. More to come soon.
Allies of Skin Molecular Saviour Mist: I liked this mist. It's not something I feel I need to repurchase but it's nice. I'm on mist overload right now. Review HERE.
FACTORFIVE Regenerative Serum: I loved this growth factor serum. The light serum texture is great. Review HERE.
Zelens Velvet Primer: I liked this primer. It's got Zelens skincare benefits. I liked it more when I lived in colder weather, it's not my favorite for the Houston weather. It does have a nice semi-matte velvet effect. It's just thicker than I want. Review HERE.
OKOKO Elixir de Clarte: I loved this stuff. A water light acid toner that smells like vanilla. I need more asap. Review soon.
Disciple Balancing Mist: I liked this mist. It's cheap and simple. It's an easy way to get copper tri-peptides.
Beverly Hills MD Line Smoothing Serum: I liked this serum. Creamy and hydrating. I liked the other serum I tested better from this brand. Review HERE.
de Mamiel Intense Nurture Antioxidant Elixir: I loved this serum. So unique. It's an antioxidant/pollution protection serum that's not vitamin C based. It's got a nice hydrating texture.
African Botanics Resurrection Eye Cream: One of my all time favorite eye creams ever. It makes my under eye so smooth. Nothing else has been so good. Review HERE.
LIXIR Night Switch PHA/AHA 10%: This was OK. A really fluid light watery texture but it kind of stung my skin a little. I like other ones better.
Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunscreen 60+: This was not bad but not good. I bought it for use on my daughter. It was very thick and to spread without her complaining. Plus the white cast is terrible. So needless to say I didn't finish it.
Oil and Water Body Scrub: I really loved this body scrub. It had such a nice to die for orange scent. The brown sugar was a nice size too, not too abrasive. I would buy it again.
January Labs Revitalizing Day Cream: I just could not get myself to like this. It has an odd lotion meets balm runny texture almost but it's also really very hydrating. Almost too hydrating for days. I liked the packaging. I just couldn't get on with the scent it was musty almost. Not that I want added fragrance, but this one was hard for me. Just wasn't a good fit for me.
Bristol & Sussex Balance Moisturizer: I liked this lotion. Has a nice light sweet scent and light creamy texture. I like a lot of my other creams better so it's not a repurchase for me.
May Lindstrom The Blue Cocoon: This stuff is amazing what can I say. The ultimate balm. The smell, the color, the calming effects. I talked about it some HERE.
111SKIN Cryo Activating Hydra Gel: I liked this. It was a bit sticky almost but other than that it was a nice gel cream. It's probably too expensive for me to want to buy it however.
3LAB "M" Cream: This was a nice cream. More like a heavier lotion. Nice slip and creamy texture. I liked it.
Atrac-Tain Cream: My holy grail dry foot cream. Stuff is phenomenal. Read my Instagram review for more.
EVE LOM Radiance Lift Cream: This was nice. Nice creamy texture. Soothing and not too heavy. Perfect balance in a cream. I have a few others I like more but this was definitely a good one.
Boscia Cactus Water Hydrating Cream: I love the idea and ingredients of this, but it pills badly. It just doesn't layer well. Shame.
Farmacy Honey Drop: I like this moisturizer. It's very light, almost too light for me. I can see this being great for combo to oilier skin types.
FlowerSpice Instant Glow Exfoliator: I just wasn't into this one. A creamy mild enzyme base but the physical exfoliating granules is what I didn't like. I'm not a physical exfoliation girl.
Tata Harper Resurfacing Serum: I love this serum. Gentle yet powerful enough for a good glow. Creamy and hydrating. The serum is really fabulous. I would repurchase. Review HERE.
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Petal: Love Fresh lip balms to death and this one is a nice neutral pink shade. I would repurchase.
La Mer The Moisturizing Soft Cream: I love the texture of this cream. So light and hydrating yet not too heavy. The best of the two creams.
Sente Daily Smoothing Cleanser: I liked this gentle cream cleanser. It's nice for sure even though I'm not a hue creamy cleanser fan.
Savor Beauty Truffle Face Cream: I liked this cream sample but it was heavier in texture and hydration than I was looking for.
Thriva Luxe Face Revive Daily Moisturizer: This was a nice light textured moisturizer. It's a CBD based one. I'm kind of on moisturizer overload right now so that's why I wouldn't look into a big one right now.
Dior Diorshow Mascara: I love this thick teddy bear brush and volumizing mascara. One of the best!
Farmacy Green Screen: I'm one of the few, I don't like this one. It's got no white cast which I love. It's just too heavy for me for a sunscreen. It's too moisturizing.
Paula's Choice Azaleic Acid: This was a little sample I got. It's OK. The cream texture is more than I like, I wish this stuff came in a serum texture. I don't really break out anymore so I can't speak to it's effects with that. I think this just wasn't for me because I didn't really need it. I do love azaleic acid in a mixed product like a cream though, then I don't need to put the thick texture on separately.
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Nude: Another empty one. This is my favorite tinted shade of the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments. Review HERE.
Chanel Rouge Coco Avant Garde: Love this Chanel lipstick. My favorite (now discontinued formula) in a perfect nude pink shade. I had three so onto my last one before I can't find it anymore.
Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara: Love this mascara to death. Great for volume and definition at the same time. I've been using this for years. I talked about it HERE.
MD'S PICK GOJI V.C. Peel-Off Modeling Mask: I love a good modeling mask. Though I hate how they drip at first they are so refreshing and hydrating. A little treat. I would buy this one again, it wasn't as drippy as others can be.
Flourishe Ultra Rejuvenating Camellia Overnight Facial Treatment Mask: Loved this sheet mask for the serum. Not a big fan of the fabric (I hate all non biocellulose because they just don't fit well and drive me nuts) but the serum is phenomenal. I need to save the extra on the side into a container next time.
Benton Deep Green Tea Toner: I liked this fluid toner sample. I would try a big one.
Fresh Black Tea Firming Corset Cream: I liked this cream sample. It was a nice medium weight cream. I ended up going for the mask version instead of this one in a large purchase.
