January Samples & Empties Part 1

Herbivore Botanicals Coco Rose Body Polish: The usual monthly empty (almost more than one jar a month lately as I've been using it a lot). This is a hero product for me. I adore this body scrub to death. Review HERE.

Zelens 3t Complex: I love this medium weight cream. It manages to make my skin radiant and plump overnight as well as plump out wrinkles. While not being too heavy. Post coming soon.

ilike Hungarian Paprika Treatment: I didn't quite finish this before it expired. Ilike Organics is also Ilsci in Europe. This is a gel mask containing pepper extracts that stimulate blood flow and circulation to the skin. You wear it over another mask to increase it's effectiveness. I did like it, it will make your face quite red and blotchy for a few hours then it goes away. It does manage to give a radiant glow from the increase in circulation. I could not use this while pregnant when my skin was sensitive. So avoid if you have really sensitive skin. It's an interesting product.

GM Collin Sensiderm Cream: I got this in my Beauty DNA subscription box. Never heard of the brand. This was a light to medium weight cream, fragrance free good for sensitive skin. It was OK. Nothing spectacular but nothing bad. I can see it good for sensitive types but I wouldn't buy it.

L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream: This is a heavier weight hydrating cream. It was OK.

Christophe Robin Regenerating Shampoo: I want to love Christophe Robin but the French strong perfume scents kill me. It's hydrating & I liked it but I cannot stand the powerful scent.

Nivea In-Shower Body Lotion Cocoa Butter: I use this on off days from the Coco Rose Body Polish. It's cheap and works well enough. Enough of a fragrance free item that it doesn't mess with my scent of the day. Review HERE.

Miriam Quevedo Glacial White Caviar Rescue Masque: This hydrating. Nothing that stood out enough to buy & a little heavily scented for me.

SkinMedica Retinol Complex 0.5: I didn't like this one. I want to delve more into SkinMedica but I dislike these creamy thicker retinol serum textures. It could be used as a lotion. I like a thinner texture.

Amore Pacific The Essential Creme Fluid: I liked this. I ran through several samples using it to calm my nose during my 6-8 week long multiple colds due to fall/daycare/toddler. It's a touch scented but not bad. It's light and fluid in texture but hydrating like a lotion.

Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate: This is OK. It uses alcohol in it so I wouldn't buy it. It didn't bother me as much as some other Shiseido products, the alcohol Shiseido tends to use usually irritates me.

Origins GinZing Eye Cream: This was OK. A light creamy eye cream. A hint of pearl. A refreshing scent. I like other eye creams better but it's good for a budget for sure.

African Botanics Fleurs d'Afrique Oil: I loved this retinal in oil. Heavy for night but not too heavy. Very nourishing. I may grab a big one one day.

Fresh Rose Face Mask: I love this rose petal mask. Rose petals, cucumber. I talked about it HERE.

Bioderma Matricium: I love this nourishing calming liquid. New review HERE.

La Mer Moisturizing Cream: I can't use the regular original cream anymore. It's too heavy. But I did use this sample jar on my nose same as the Amore Pacific for calming my nose after being red from a cold.

Mantra Mask Deface the Blemish: I loved the other two Mantra Masks I tried. Minus the fact that I hate sheet masks because they just are ill fitting to my face in general. This one was more for acne prone skins which I don't need. I loved the other two.

Tata Harper Creme Riche: This is nice, I grabbed a mini size recently. Not too scented like some Tata Harper items. This is quite hydrating and richer but not greasy cream. I like it.

Lancome Energie de Vie La Creme d-Eau: This was OK, a basic gel moisturizer. A little too scented.

Goodal Waterest Clear Up Gauze: This is different. It uses fruit acids only to exfoliate. The natural weave gauze was a touch rough on my skin. I used them up but wouldn't repurchase. It's discontinued anyway.

Huda Beauty Complexion Perfection Base: This was OK. A heavier cream primer. I didn't finish using my sample if that helps you.

Huda Faux Filter Foundation: This is a full coverage foundation. It's less dry than I thought it would be. It was actually a bit satin to dewy in finish. It was way too much , felt too heavy on my skin. Though it covered everything.

Dior Hydra Life Fresh Hydration Sorbet Creme: This was an average gel moisturizer. The scent was a bit too much for me.
