July Samples & Empties

I’ve been kind of dreading writing this July Samples & Empties Post as it was such a massive empty month. But here we go. Quick thoughts about each starting above.

I’m From Honey Mask: This was my second jar of this. It’s a hydrating honey mask with a nice slippery creamy gel texture so it’s not too sticky like some honey masks can be. Review HERE.

OSKIA Citylife Cleansing Concentrate: I couldn’t quite finish this gel cleanser before it expired. Too many open ones. I love the detox aspect of this one, and you only need a little. It’s great for combo to oily skin. Review HERE.

Fresh Sugar Face Polish: My all time favorite Fresh mask. This brown sugar, strawberry polish is amazing in the shower. I put it on after I wash my face and let the steam melt it into the skin. It softens and hydrates for a instant glow. I go through a lot of these. Review HERE.

Stratia Liquid Gold: I love this product for barrier repair. I just couldn’t use it all before it expired. I only use it really in the winter. It can be a nice lotion on it’s own or layered under a cream. I would buy it again I think I just got overloaded on creams for a while. Review HERE.

MUN ANAROSE Hydrating Rose Toner: Love the brand. I like this mist, it’s a nice rose one. Review HERE.

SkinMedica TNS Essential Serum: I’m going to save thoughts on this for the review. Which I hope to work on this month. I think it needs a full review since it’s such a classic.

Leegeehaam Hyal B5 Ampoule: I liked this a lot. It has resurrection plant which I adore. I couldn’t use this one up either before it went bad. I’ve been doing a lot of cleaning out the closet. Looks maybe discontinued?

KIN SKIN Skin & Hair Elixir: Loved this green coffee oil. That’s all it is is pure green coffee oil form Australia. It’s one of my ingredient favorites. This is a heavier textured oil and it has a a really earthy scent, it’s best mixed in sometimes to another product. Review HERE.

Votary Super Seed Nutrient Cream: Used every last drop. I see them reformulated with a new version which I’m super curious about. I loved the fragrance free aspect of this one. Review HERE.

Luzern Nuit Retinol Creme Luxe: I liked this but I like their lotions and serums better from this brand.

Colleen Rothschild Age Renewal Super Serum: This was nice. I’m not a huge creamy serum fan because then I can’t layer as much. I love her packaging. This one wasn’t a game changer for me but it was nice.

PurEarth Wild Seaberry Supercritical Oil: I loved this oil. It was very antioxidant potent. So much that the color is a bright orange red, it was incredible. It did stain but I was able to forget about that. Review HERE.

Skin Better Science Alto Defense Serum: I really liked this. Nice texture. I can see why many liked this. Nice inci list. More to come.

KIN SKIN Coffee + Yarrow Serum Cleanser: I loved this. It’s a gel oil balm with a more gel texture. Of course with my fav green coffee oil. See above KIN SKIN for links.

Moss Illumina: I liked this but it was too gentle for me. Always impressive formulas. This one is great for sensitive skin. For the price tag I would t get it again. I went over it HERE.

La Bella Figura Jardin de Fleurs: This was a nice mist. Not an uber hydrating one, but nice.

MUKTI Vital A Elixir: I loved this. Really nice over the counter retinol night serum. This brand has been phenomenal so far. More to come.

La Bella Figura The Clean Slate Charcoal: This was last summers limited exclusive. I like Clean Slate but sometimes it’s too thick of a gel for me. Yet I’ve gone through three jars so far.

Sisley Nutritive Lip Balm: My all time holy grail night lip balm. It’s amazing. I’m on jar three. Review HERE.

Naturopathica Vitamin C15 Wrinkle Repair Serum: I liked this. It’s a 15% ascorbic acid serum which is my fav form of vitamin C.

MUN AKNARI Brightening Youth Serum: I love this oil. It’s simple, high quality and one of my favorites for nights. Gives you that glow you seek. Review HERE.

Biologique Recherche Masque Biosensible: This was OK. Not my favorite of all BR masks.

Mila Moursi Triple Actif Anti Wrinkle Cream: This was OK too. I like it but it wasn’t stellar enough to make me buy it.

Pat McGrath Labs FetishEyes Mascara: I liked this mascara. It was pretty good. I talked about it HERE.

Milk Kush Mascara: I like this it’s pretty good. Not too dry, not too wet. Voluminous enough. All around decent.

Farmacy Honey Butter Lip Balm: This is a really great lip balm. I’ve gone through two.

Revitalash Volumizing Mascara & Primer: This was better than I thought it would be. I’m still not into mascara primers but it was pretty decent overall.

SUQQU Brow Camel: Love love this. I’ve gone through four at least. Review HERE.

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Nude & Petal: Love this formula. My all time favorite lip balm. I let these two go bad by accident while I was testing others. They’re almost empty. Review HERE.

Revision Nectifirm: This was OK. Nothing really stood out on it for me.

Nubian Heritage Patchouli & Buriti Body Wash: Their body washes are the best. Love this scent.

Chuck & Sam Skin Milk: I liked this. A thinner fluid lotion that was pretty hydrating.

Davines Oi All in One Milk: I went through two minis of this. I like it. Hydrating creamy oil spray with a deep woody herbal scent.

Playa Every Day Shampoo & Supernatural Conditioner: I really loved these. Hated the hard to squeeze bottles but loved the product. I would grab big ones as they’re probably easier to squeeze than small ones.

Sisley Cleansing Milk: I love this stuff. Great milky cleanser. So creamy.

Marie Veronique Vitamins C + E + Ferulic Serum: This was OK. Too creamy for me texture wise. I like mine thinner and more fluid.

Beauty Bio The Nightly Peptide Serum: I liked this. It seemed like a nice one.

Mecca Cosmetica To Save Body SPF 50+ Body Sunscreen: his was good. No white cast, not greasy.

Fresh Pink Jasmine Hand Cream: A little hidden gem. This was really nice.

Briogeo Scalp Revival: I liked this. I would try a big one. I know it’s super popular.

Sisley Double Tenseur: I love this primer. It really pulls the skin taught and firms. Expensive as hell but nice. Great for summer or warm weather.

MUKTI Antioxidant Facial Serum: This was OK. Nice texture. I like their vital line better.

Decorte Environmental Day Cream: Terrible. The texture is OK but this has the worst, strong perfume scent I’ve seen in a longtime. I chucked it after one use.

YSL The Shock Mascara: This is OK. I don’t know why but I’m never really into this one when I get a sample.

Archipelago Botanico de Havana Body Lotion: Loved this. Nice light lotion texture, non greasy and sinks in well but is moisturizing. Love the scent.

Malie Organics Koke’e Hand Soap: This stuff is phenomenal. The scent is killer. I need more.

Tabitha James Kraan Clean Shampoo Amber Rose: I really liked this one. Light gel like texture, warm amber scent. Gentle cleaning.

Theraplex Emollient: I got this out of a subscription box. I actually loved it for the winter. Very almost waxy balmy texture so good for socks or before bed only.

eos Shave Cream Vanilla Bliss: Love this. My favorite shave cream.

Pureology Fullfyl Shampoo: The scent on this one is too powerful. It’s way too perfume scented.

Sjal Kura Intuitif: I liked this. I really am intrigued by this brand for some reason.

SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2: This stuff is really great. Good all around repairing cream.

Whamisa Organic Flowers Peeling Finger Mitt: This was a gel like hydrating and exfoliating finger mitt. It was OK but nothing I would buy.

Sjal Orbe: Like this as a light eye cream.
