June Samples & Empties

Time for the June Samples & Empties Post. Quick thoughts about each starting above.

Perricone MD Hyalo Plasma: I adore this stuff. A gel textured moisturizer that’s silicone free and easy to layer. It really adds a nice cushy layer under any moisturizer. Oily skin can use alone. I’m on jar four I think. Holy grail gel cream. Review HERE.

OSKIA Citylife Facial Mist: I loved this. Love the brand. Nice earthy scent. Relaxes me a little. I had to cut it open and pour it into a bottle as it stopped spraying after a while. They have since updated the packaging which I like better. I did like carrying this one around to relax me though. Review HERE.

Acaderma The Oasis: I loved this. I think brand has great things to show in the future. This is the hydrating serum with a unique twist. I would repurchase. Review HERE.

Herbivore Coco Rose: Adore this stuff as you know by now. Perfect amount of oils left behind. Perfect grain size of exfoliant. All time favorite and Holy Grail. Review HERE.

Neocutis BioGel: I liked this. It’s a hydrating gel with growth factors. It extremely expensive and I would just buy the serum instead of the gel.

OSKIA Renaissance Mask: My all time favorite exfoliating mask ever. Lactic acid and it’s not drying. So you get such baby soft skin with no real irritation. I lost count how many jars I went through, I have to be on six at least. Holy Grail. Review HERE.

Clarity RX An Apple A Day: I actually really liked this. It was a light hydrating serum with apple stem cells. A little pricey but no more than any stem cell serum right now. They (stem cells) kind of give that healthy feel to skin.

Manyo Factory Galactomyces Special Treatment Essence Cream Rich: I loved this. I’m sad it’s been discontinued or something. I can no longer find it anywhere.

Osmosis Rescue: I liked this. It’s got a nice light texture, smells terrible like bleach. It works. A little pricey but a little goes a long way, this lasted well over a year. Review HERE.

OKOKO L’Elixir de Purete: I liked this. This is their Dragon’s Blood clarifying serum. Really expensive which keeps me from probably buying it again but I love the water light texture, plus it’s got good ingredients.

Lovinah Dragon’s Blood Face Tonic: This is their old version of the toner/essence that had vinegar in it. I liked it previously but the new one is fabulous. The new one has a thicker more essence like texture and it’s more soothing/hydrating. Review of the old one HERE.

Moss Beurre Celeste: I liked this. I loved the OG honey balm cleanser. It rinses mostly clean with water but I still liked to follow it with a second cleanse. I think it’s going to be replaced in the line as I heard the star ingredient will not be available anymore. The texture was a bit thick for me  so I probably wouldn’t repurchase it but the new version I think will be smoother and thinner if it’s anything like the samples on LB4 right now (Moss playground for new developing products). I talked about it some in my review HERE.

NIOD Modulating Glucosides: I liked this but honestly can’t say it did that much for me. Granted I don’t have a huge amount of inflammation or redness so I may not be it’s target person. The thick creamy texture was not my favorite either as then I can’t use multiple layers as easily.

Allies of Skin 1A Overnight Mask: I absolutely adore this stuff. I have a second already. Easily one of my favorite night creams. It’s in my top favorites. It’s so easy and effective. You can just wash and apply this after a hydrating layer then go to bed. Review HERE and HERE.

5YINA Divine Bio-Adaptive Cleanser: I love this cleanser. A creamy cleanser that I need to review. I’m on bottle two so I like it enough to keep using it again and again. If I did a top four favorite creamy cleansers this one would have made the cut.

Herbivore Pink Cloud: Eh, it’s OK. Mildly hydrating, simple. I like the jar. I ended up using this on my arms and body. I like it more for body than face.

Thank You Farmer Sun Project Water Sun Cream: I liked this, no white cast, light texture. The alcohol was a bit drying and the higher fragrance so I used this up on my body. I would not repurchase but I have my eye on an alcohol free version they have.

The Inkey List Collagen Booster: I liked this. It has such a nice light hydrating texture. It’s cheap and a better texture than The Ordinary ones. Review HERE.

Chanel Rouge Coco Stunning: I love this old formula, sadly the new version is not as hydrating. Plus the colors are not as great. I loved their old nude shades. This one has been long discontinued.

Surratt Surreal Skin Foundation 6: I love this foundation. It looks like skin with nice medium coverage. I hate the brush applicator but I deal as I adore the product. I already have a second one. Review HERE.

Sisley Instant Perfect: This primer is OK. Not my favorite by them. A satin primer with a slight silicone base and pink color. Too expensive for me to buy it though.

Butter & Me Pure Cleanse Spring: This was a nice shower oil. I liked it a lot. Really small new brand.

BeautyBio The Ultimate Hydrating Hypervitamin Cream: I liked the cream. It was medium weight and nice.

Tabitha James Kraan Clean Conditioner Amber Rose: I loved the smoky amber scent of this conditioner. Very light and didn’t weigh my hair down.

Twice Twilight Toothpaste: I loved both versions of this toothpaste. The night version is peppermint with lavender & vanilla. Yum

5YINA Bio-Cellulose Mask: I love biocellulose sheet masks. This one is great.

Sjal Orbe Eye Contour Creme: I liked this eye cream. It’s light and good for daytime. Almost a touch too light for me but nice light texture.

La Prairie Anti-Aging Rapid Response Booster: This was OK. A little too fragranced for me. Plus too expensive in general anyway.

La Prairie Skin Caviar Creme Luxe: Even though I can’t afford it, I like the creams texture. A little too fragranced.

Manyo Factory Caviar Vita Eye Gel: I liked the eye gel. It was nice overall but I doubt I’ll grab a big one.

MDNA Skin The Eye Mask: I like these. They’re huge. A nice fabric feel that does brighten a little too. More to come.

Omorovicza Firming Neck Cream: Love the brand, nice cream for he neck. It is a tad too heavy for me in general, I like a touch lighter neck cream than my face.Nice for winter.

Paula’s Choice Hydrating Gel-to-Cream Cleanser: I liked this gel cleanser. It’s simple and nice. I have too many gel cleansers to need to buy it but it’s nice.

Kat Burki Intense Recovery Eye Serum: I like this creamy eye serum. Like a light eye cream. Always love the Kat Burki scent.

Pyunkang Yul Moisture Serum: I liked this. It’s a heavier cream style serum. I prefer the essence toner to this if you’re going to get one thing.

Paula’s Choice Resist Advanced Replenishing Toner: I liked this light hydrating toner. It’s nice.

Dr.Jart+ All That Contours: This is a fun stretch foam dry mask. The fit is terrible for my face. I like the two piece aspect.

Nature Republic Argan Essential Deep Care Hair Pack: I loved this hair mask. Hydrating and gives a glossy effect without being too heavy or weighting my hair down too much.

Marajo Nourishing Cleansing Creme & Deep Treatment Butter: These two were OK. I used them when I dyed my hair, very gentle. I think the brand left Sephora already though.

Miriam Quevedo The Gold Shampoo: This is OK. I like it but it’s not really memorable enough to buy.

Rahua Color Full Shampoo & Conditioner: I loved this. I need full sizes. Love the brand and this was a great addition to the line.
