May Samples & Empties

Time for the really really late Samples & Empties Post. Quick thoughts about each starting above. This month has a few expired but not empty products as I cleaned out my stash.

YURIPIBU Black Tea Firming Mask: I actually liked this creamy, hydrating, black tea mask but I let it expire so I threw it out. This might have gotten discontinued, I haven't seen it around for a while.

Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner: I used this till the end. A really nice true rose scented (no fake artificial rose) toner. It's soothing and hydrating. The rose petals do get annoying clogging up the hole at the end. Review HERE.

Su-man Purifying Cleansing Gel Oil: This is gel oil balm that started it all for me on oil based cleansers. Love it to death. I talked about it some HERE.

Herbivore Coco Rose: How I love thee. I go through a jar a month of this gem. Review HERE.

Osmosis StemFactor: I loved the idea. I'm going to save my thoughts for the full review. Coming soon.

One Love Organics Vitamin D Moisture Mist: I loved this mist that actually hydrates. I love reishi mushrooms. I would buy again.

NIOD Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate: Thin waterlight serum that actually worked. Slow to start. More to come.

Wild Ferns Manuka Honey Facial Serum: I liked this. I just found towards the end I didn't reach for it enough to use it all up before it expired. I talked about it HERE.

Omrovicza Queen of Hungary Mist: I love this Hungarian thermal water and orange blossom mist.

Renee Rouleau Advanced Resurfacing Serum: This was my second tube. I love this creamy retinol and would buy it again. Review HERE.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Enigma: I love Urban Decay's eyeshadow primer in general. The shade Enigma is the perfect matte nude base for my skin tone. Why is it limited edition?

Odacite Pa+G: This was a brightening facial oil. I liked the carrot one more than this one. It was lightweight and smells of citrus. It didn't give me any really noticeable brightening.

Alterna Caviar Daily Detox Shampoo: I love the Alterna line in general. This gel shampoo really detoxes and removes my buildup. It also helps with DHT (what causes hair loss).

Shiseido Sheer Eye Zone Corrector 104 Natural Ochre: I forgot I had a tube of this laying around. It had been in the baby's play bin for a year. I never finished it and figured it was expired so out it goes. It's a nice light concealer pen style product. I like my Armani corrector more for the dark circle color correcting. Comparison HERE. Looks like this is getting phased out. Sephora no longer carries it.

Alaffia Everyday Coconut Body Wash: I love this body wash. I'm now onto my second one. This large pump lasts literally forever. It took me like a year to use it. Coconut and coffee oil, hell yes.

Goldfaden MD Brightening Elixir: This was OK. A light textured serum. It's really hard to see how much it can do when you only get a week out of the sample. I don't think I would buy it, I'd play with it again.

Davines Oi All in One Milk: I love this milky leave in conditioning spray. It's got a very green earthy scent.

Seed Phytonutrients Body Moisturizer & Lightweight Conditioner: I love the lightweight yet hydrating feel of the body lotion. The body moisturizer I love and would easily buy. The conditioner is a bit light and I need a bit more.

VENeffect Pore Minimizing Cleanser: This was a nice gel cleanser. It was OK, not one I would buy but nice.

Perricone Face Finishing Moisturizer: This was one of my first real face creams many years back. It gives a lovely soft feel to the skin.

Ole Henriksen Truth Serum: I like it. It was my first real vitamin C serum. Then I moved on. It's not very strong.

Perricone Pre:Empt Series Skin Perfecting Serum: This was OK. Hydrating, creamy serum. Definitely for people in their 20s I would say (as designed). It's simple.

Earthwise Beauty Marshmallow Suds: Love this cleanser. Gel meets creamy meets herbal. More to come.

Sisley Black Rose Skin Infusion Cream: I like this gel cream. It's more moisturizing than most gel creams. It's a little pricey for what it is.

La Mer The Moisturizing Soft Cream: I do love this. It's probably one of my favorite La Mer items ever. It's light and airy compared to the original. Calming, soothing and hydrating.

Clinique High Impact Mascara: This was OK. Volumizing. No flaking.

By Terry Mascara Terrybly: I didn't like this the first time I used it. I liked it this time. It was voluminous without being clumpy. It dried out fast.

MAC Upward Lash: This has the cutest little brush, great for lower lashes.

Earthwise Beauty Marigold Fields: Just discontinued. A medium hydrating moisturizer. I wouldn't have bought it anyway.

Amore Pacific Vintage Single Extract Essence: Love this green tea extract.

YOU Skinare Clarifying Glow Serum: Adore the brand. I liked the sample and have a full size, I just need to test more. Stay tuned.

Sisley Radiance Anti-Aging Concentrate: This stuff is always nice to play with. I would never buy it because it's so expensive. I love getting it in my sub box though.

Sisley Supremya Baume La Nuit: This is a very hydrating cream. Same as above.

Hermes Un Jardin Sur le Nil: I love Hermes. This scent is light and green.

Sisley Botanical D-Tox: This is a creamy serum. Same as other Sisley above.

Chantecaille Anti-Pollution Finishing Essence: This was OK. Watery light in texture. Hard to tell if it really did anything to be honest.

Sisley Supremya Yeux La Nuit: This was a very hydrating night eye cream. It was so small a sample hard to tell if it did anything. Very pricey.

Anastasia Brow Primer: I had this sitting around in my purse. I cleared a bunch out so out it went as I never touched it anymore. It a clear wax pomade pencil basically.

Maybelline Expert Wear Blonde: I love the color of this pencil. I wish it wasn't so stiff and hard.

La Bella Figura Daily Elements Defense: I like this oil sample. I like a few other oils they make better. In general all their oils are fantastic.

OUMERE No9: I liked this. It has a vinegar kind of smell. Strong but not too strong. I still like P50 better.

OUMERE Serum Bioluminelle: This is perfect. The most amazing lightweight oil serum ever. More to come.

Armani Smooth Silk #2 Eye Liner: A staple of mine for a long time. I love the brown shade and softness yet longevity of the pencil.

SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 : This was a nice sample. Hydrating, I would consider buying a big one.

Clarity RX Sleep It Off Mask: I liked this. It has a warming sensation which is different.

OSKIA CityLife Detox Mask: This is a modeling mask. I have a few more I need to test but more to come.

Rahua Finishing Treatment: I like this creamy leave in treatment. I used it on my ends. Rahua anything is always a favorite.

Sisley Eye Contour Mask: I love this gel cream style mask. Easy to use while masking. I talked about it HERE.

Skyn Iceland Blemish Dots: I love these. So easy for blemishes. Review HERE.

Leonor Greyl Serum se Soie Sublimateur: I used to have a full size of this serum. I like it. I don't really use these silicone style serums anymore.

Derm Institute Gel Masque: This is a nice hydrating gel mask. It's a leave on mask. It's more hydrating than most gel masks I've tried.

Hair Rituel by Sisley Revitalizing Smoothing Shampoo & Regenerating Hair Care Mask: I was more impressed with these than I expected to be. They were quite nice. Left my hair glossy, hydrated.
