SUQQU AW2018 & Benimiyabi

SUQQU is one of my all time favorite brands. Their eyeshadow quads and blushes are my favorite from their line. I’m extremely behind in posting some picks from the Fall 2018 collection & one permanent quad I’ve been wanting to grab for ages. I’ve already reviewed the Designing Color Eyes so I won’t go over texture again. See my review HERE.

In short these are pigmented, smooth, finely milled and have great longevity without creasing. Easily one of the best powder formulas out there. I really wish they would sell singles as I pretty much depot all the neutral shades and ditch the colors. These are so easy to depot you just push them out with a toothpick through the hole, no heat required. I truly wish all companies used compacts like SUQQU. There’s no damage to the pan either so you can save it and put them back in later if you no longer want them in your palette.

Designing Color Eyes 03 Benimiyabi (Warm Red & Khaki) Chic red & khaki for a refined look. This shade is a part of the permanent collection. I was going to get it when it first launched then waited a bit. I finally caved and grabbed this khaki and peach red combo. When mixed together they actually make a really stunning nude. Green and red are complimentary colors and when mixed they neutralize each other. This kind of nude has a really amazing depth to it. The quad has shimmering shades of light peach, deep red coral, khaki and a deep khaki brown.

Designing Color Eyes in 120 Ryoukosumosu (Airy Green & Blooming Purple) Taking soft pastel hues from cosmos flowers, the palette creates captivating, cool finish. It’s an odd one for a fall collection as it looks more like spring. With all shimmering shades of pale lilac, mint green, grape purple and medium bronzy brown. This one was limited edition and I honestly don’t know why I grabbed it. I don’t wear mint or purple. I really wanted that brown. So I kept the brown and gave away the colors to friends. I would not recommend doing that in general buy a quad for one shade but for SUQQU I make exceptions at times.

The AW 2018 collection was inspired by the Japanese concept “Kacho Fugestu” Rich & colorful, exquisite beauty that we find in nature. The Moisture Rich Lipstick in 104 Choutouka (Pure Pink) is limited edition and described as an ultra-fresh pure pick evocative of wild blossoms. It’s a warm almost coral sheer pink with a hint of gold glimmer. I like the moisture rich formula , it’s glossy, buttery & hydrating. Review HERE.
