February Samples & Empties

Time for the February Samples & Empties Post. Quick thoughts about each starting above.

Beauty Pie Plantastic Hand Cream: I loved this. Slightly slippery formula but it moisturizes really well and isn't greasy or heavy. I talked about it HERE. It's not pricey either.

Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator: I love this mist. It's one of my all time favorites. So hydrating and I love the green scent. I would repurchase 100%. Review HERE.

Circ Cell Dew pH Perfector: I liked this toner. It's got aloe, lactic acid, amino acid complex, arnica, witch hazel & camphor. It's got an active feel to it, I'm thinking from the lactic acid/camphor combo. I'm not a huge toner fan beyond acid toners so I probably wouldn't repurchase.

Olivarrier Dual Moist Hyaluron Essence: I didn't get to use this up before it expired on me. I loved the thicker hydrating gel. This one is great for sensitive skin as it's fragrance free. I think it's a really good one and one of the thickest ones. I prefer a touch thinner essence in texture. Great product I just didn't reach for it all the time.

By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water: I loved this acid toner. Mandelic acid is great for pigmentation. This one is gentle too. I prefer other ones more and likely wouldn't repurchase but I did use it all. Review HERE.

Omorovicza Blue Diamond Concentrate: I loved this serum. It's hydrating and has anti-aging benefits. I love the stunning blue bottle. It costs a car payment and I will gladly use it up every time I get it but I can't justify buying it on a regular basis. I talked about it a long time ago HERE.

Herbivore Coco Rose: Another one bites the dust. May favorite body polish and I love re-purposing the jars. Review HERE.

La Bella Figura The Clean Slate: I love this light balm cleanser. It's got a thick creamy gel balm texture and it rinses clean with water. It is one that leaves behind almost no oils, it's one of the lightest balm cleansers I've tried. Review HERE.

Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Jelly: I adored this product and would absolutely purchase again. It hydrates and never pills. More coming soon.

Le Metier de Beaute Revitalizing Anti-Aging Day Creme: I liked this cream. It had a nice plush texture. I don't know that I agree it was worth the price ($385 I think). I would not repurchase.

Maya Chia The Super Blend Pressed Serum: Loved this balm. It was slightly softer and less oil like than some balms. It has a nice creamy touch to the texture.

La Bhanga Amm Total Strengthening Serum: This is a CBD serum. It had a nice light hydrating texture but was definitely a little pricey. I loved the texture, I'm not ultimately sure how I feel about how effective CBD is in skincare yet. I need to try it more to decide.

dermaTRUTH In The Beginning Antioxidant Peptide Serum: This was a nice creamy hydrating serum with antioxidants and peptides. More soon.

Rita Hazan True Color Ultimate Shine Gloss Breaking Brass: Love this stuff. I'm on number three right now. Adds a hint of gloss and purple in the shower. Like a purple toner. Without having to mess with shampoos.

AIKA TRI DOSHA Elixir: I completely adored this facial oil. It was so unique with awesome ingredients. It was one of the best facial oils I've used. I would totally purchase again once I get through some other oils. Review HERE.

Jordan Samuel Skin The Aftershow Treatment Cleanser: Love this stuff to death. Great jelly gel oil balm cleanser. I have the new sensitive skin version to play with right now and would 100% repurchase. Review HERE.

La Mer The Moisturizing Soft Cream: I love this stuff. I use it on my nose when it's sore from colds. It just seems to really soothe and heal the area.

AIKA KAPHA Face Balm: This was OK. Love the brand but the balm was a bit gritty in some parts it wasn't as smooth as I like my balms to be.

YSL Glossy Stain Rebel Nudes 101 & 106: I completely adored these shades. The texture is great too. They just dry my lips out soooo bad. I have to literally scrub them with polish for three days after wearing these to get them back to normal. But I love the shades they need these in a lipstick form or something and I would buy the two forever. I had them for 4+ years so I threw the out for expiration stuff. Review HERE. Sadly there were limited edition.

True Botanicals Nourishing Wash: I loved this body wash. It was phenomenal. Cam in my Beauty Heroes box. Review HERE.

Malie Organics Hibiscus Body Polish: I liked this body scrub. It doesn't beat my Coco Rose so while it was nice I have to keep buying coco rose.

Sally Hershberger Get Gorgeous Conditioner: I liked this conditioner. Not too heavy and didn't weight my hair down. It has a nice butter texture feel to it.

By Terry Baume de Rose Hand Cream: I liked this hand cream. It's nice but I don't know that I would buy a big one. I'm pretty sure there's a cheaper dupe out there.

Sisley Eau Efficace Gentle Eye Makeup Remover: I like this eye makeup remover. It's quite good. I'm still loyal to my Bioderma Sensibo.

Kat Burki Rose Hip Revitalizing Serum: I like this creamy hydrating serum. It's nice. I like her collagen gel better but this one is nice too.

La Mer The Moisturizing Lotion: This is the old lotion that was my holy grail for years. It's since been discontinued and changed but the old one is killer. I have minis I use now and then.

Tatcha Violet-C Brightening Serum: I liked this serum. Natural fruit acids and AHA. It wasn't harsh at all on my skin. I have a big one I'll break into sometime soon and more to come.

Truth Treatment Systems Omega 6 Healing Cream: This was OK. I wasn't a fan of the texture. It wasn't really smooth or anything. I have just come to like my green beauty balms more than any others now.

Eighth Day Skin Regenerating Serum: This was enough for two uses so can't speak to effects. It's a nice hydrating clear serum. More to come when I break out the big one.

Chanel Le Volume Mascara: I love this mascara to death. The only silicone wand I like. Review HERE.

Skinbetter Science Even Tone Correcting Serum: Small sample so can't speak to effects. I've heard it's phenomenal and I'll be breaking out a big one in May to get ready for summer pigmentation.

Perricone MD Cold Plasma Plus+ Neck & Chest: This was OK. I like Perricone but it was nothing really special, I'll just use my regular creams on my neck.

Algenist Genius Sleeping Collagen: This was OK. It has a thick cream texture. It just wasn't a wow me thing.

Glossier Priming Moisturizer: This was meh. It didn't stand out at all.

Sisley Anti-Aging Concentrate Firming Body Care: This stuff is phenomenal. Light creamy texture and it just feels amazing on. Why does it have to be so expensive? (whines)
